Great buy if this is what you are looking for

Unfortunately it did not work for me and I took it back and traded it in for a folio type that protected entire I pad. I’m sure this item will work for others but not for me.

Bad fit

I bought my new IPAD 10 at Best Buy, then looked for a cover. The Best Buy associate told me this cover would work with the new IPAD. It can be used but doesn't really work as it needs to with the paired pencil. I didn't realize this until I saw one that did work correctly. It's too late to return this one but I will not be using it.
