    A let down for me after Skyfall. Well made but a little dull. Waltz's Bloefeld underwhelms.

    After setting the bar for Skyfall, we were expecting a bit more out of this movie. Unfortunately not so much. The character fell into the same old "Bond" characteristics instead of progressing. While enjoyable to watch, there could have been some growth to the character and story lines that would have made it far better than what it was.

    The first half of the film builds well. Craig does well as Bond. I feel things go a little sideways once he arrives at SPECTRE headquarters and the truth becomes known to Blofeld's aims. I think the entire effort to bring SPECTRE back to Bond's universe was not necessary. They could have stuck with Quantum as the 21st century version.
