if you own this on blu ray.do not buy this.its still a good movie.but the sound field or picture is no better than the blu ray disc.still 5.1.dolby digital.

Speed's a great movie and unfortunately this disc needs a remaster. Colors are off, lots of grain. If you don't have it, for $5 you can't go wrong, but otherwise, wait for a remaster.

When Speed first came out it was an instant hit because it was a new type of storyline, and introduced Sandra Bullock to the adventure genre. And who but Dennis Hopper could be a better bad guy.

I'm not the biggest fan of this film, but my wife and kids enjoyed it. Fox cheaped out on this bluray and didn't give it any sort of restoration.

4k transfer was just OK. It's a good summer time movie.

This is a fun movie to watch, it is a serious subject but it's a light comedic action movie!
