Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves deliver in this movie.

A good hijack flick, with a twist. Keanu Reeves is believable as a cop, and Sandra Bullock likewise as the damsel in distress.

Speed blu Ray looks great One of the best movies ever.

Old school movie Classic Action from beginning to end

Finally! SPEED in 4K! The movie has always been amazing. The 4K transfer is crisp and a pleasure to watch. The audio is the same mix that was found on the previous blu-ray. It's good but nothing next level. The SteelBook is pretty dang nice as these things go. Not the biggest fan of the actual art but hey, I saw the photo on here before purchase. In person it's got a nice shine to it. If you've never seen the movie but like action movies like Die Hard, it's definitely worth a blind buy. If you've seen it already and want to see it the best it's looked outside of a movie theater, go for it!

High octane action in glorious 4K!! Speed keeps you on the edge of your seat and doesn't let up. This is the best this movie has ever looked. 4K transfer is very good, but not great. Disappointing that Fox did not include a Dolby Atmos soundtrack, but instead just a DTS-HD MA 5.1 soundtrack. It still sounds pretty good, but could have been much better. Can't argue about the awesome action and stunts in this movie. Keanu Reeves is at the top of his game in this one, and Dennis Hopper plays one of the best bombing terrorists in any movie. Pop quiz hotshot!! I definitely recommend this one!

I loved this movie when I saw it in the theater many many years ago. One thing about 90s action film is that they have a sense of realism to them when it comes to practical stunts. Nowadays there is so much CGI effect for stunts and it doesn't feel authentic. This Speed SteelBook has the gritty authentic real action that gets your heart pumping. Oh yeah and then add Sandra Bullock, Jeff Daniels, Dennis Hopper, and the one and only Keanu Reeves. Gather the family, make some popcorn, and enjoy this fun action packed glorious film.

A great action movie from the Tandem Reeves-Bullock, a shot of adrenaline in this no-stop action movie

Climb on for the ride of your life! The tank is full of adrenaline and the speedometer is maxed out! In true 90s action movie fashion, this is an over the top tale about a bus! Yes a bus, but it has a bomb, yes a bomb! And if the bus goes too slow the bomb just might blow! Sandra takes the wheel, Dennis provides the suspense, and Keanu just wants to save the day! Remember, Don’t slow down!

Dennis Hopper as the mad bomber in this action extravaganza is cast perfect. Keanu Reeves takes a break from his surfer dude- "Point Break"-persona to star as Jack Traven of the LAPD Bomb Squad. Traven will stop at nothing to bring down Howard Payne with the help of his new sidekick, Annie (played by Sandra Bullock) whose sole purpose is to keep the bus above 50 mph. Strap on because you're in for a ride with the new Disney 4k release of this 1994 action classic.

Lots of action, multiple story lines and scary moments. Great actors/actress.

The story holds up as if it were made this year. Even after repeated viewing you will find new moments you did not notice the first time you saw it. But what really sells this disc is 4K. The level of added detail is extraordinary compared to the old blu-ray. HDR really come through. From the warm interiors to the explosion of the first bus; you will really enjoy the added punch that comes with Speed 4K. Steelbook is just another added perk.

Good entertaining action movie to keep you on the edge of your seat.

The 1080p Blu-ray was released in 2006. I felt like that was adequate but after never having a remaster since then, there are no releases that even to maximize the 1080 format. For this reason alone I recommend the upgrade. The 4K is well reviewed online and I have to agree. Definitely worth the upgrade for fans of this movie and/or anyone transitioning their library to 4K.

One of the defining action films of the last couple decades, "Die Hard on a Bus" entertains today as well as it did upon release with snappy dialogue, an excellent score to keep up with the pace of continuous action, and an amazing array of practical special effects, all led by charismatic leads and De Bont's skillful direction. Limited Steelbook presentation is a beauty, and the transfers are very strong. Highly recommended.
