Great STEM toys for girls too

We enrolled my 2nd grader in coding/robotics after school program. And this toy helped her to make STEM fun and easy to build her interests.

Great and Fun Toy

They enjoy playing with them very much. I got to admit even I enjoyed trying it out with them. It's relatively easy to set up on devices that have the Google Play Store. However, on Amazon Tablets it was tricky to set up. Besides that it is fun and easy to use.

Very maneuverable and easy to set up with your cell phone. It is responsive and has some intersting configuration settings. However, I am concerned that a child will play with it for an hour or so and then probably not pick it up again. What will be interesting is to see if Sphero continues to update the app and device to be able to do new tasks to keep it fresh. However, at $49 it may be worth it if your child likes these types of toys.
