It is customizable, you can select a name for yourself as well as your superpowers. Setup was easy and after the firmware update, it was ready to go in minutes. The app experience is great just like other Sphero products, and the voice activation feature works really well. For the few times it couldn't understand me, Spider-man even cracks a joke.

From the box figured it would be somewhat of a poseable action figure. Only the arms move. It does have a lot of interactivity. Just wished it worked more like the echo without having to push a button to activate it. Has some issues listening and does talk a lot. Here’s a great video review https://youtu.be/xXED48UBZEc

There's a huge amount of content and Sphero created Spidy to remember what you've said, allowing for unique interactions that change over time depending on your answers. The missions are well crafted with great sound design. Does it move on its own? Nope. But that's not the point of this particular design. It's more like an auditory choose-you-own-adventure. The voice of Spidy is charming and fun. Plus, it's primed for new content to be downloaded into it so we'll be able to enjoy it for years to come. All in all, a great toy for children and adults that activates their imagination packed with tons of Easter eggs.
