The tie in to Tony Stark and Iron Man made the movie. Nice budget title.

I already owned the movie but the pop art steelbook was so cool I had to rebuy it.

Although obviously this Spiderman is not connected fully to the MCU, and it certainly feels and act that way, for some reason, this movie just didn't feel right. Spiderman was great, but, the story line itself, was very bland. It literally felt more like a high school drama, than an actual Marvel movie with a good story line and action. This is not to say the character of Spiderman and even Iron Man were bad, it is overall, the pathetic turn this country has taken to embrace "pop-culture" and throw it up on screen to include EVERYONE when there is no point to it. It makes sense to the true MCU fans.

Before people get all wound up about someone not liking a Marvel movie, hear me out. Ok so I am using the last three incarnations of spiderman in film as the comparisons because if I included the 1970's Nicholas Hammond version there would be no competition ( Spiderman, bad kung-fu, ninjas and an western movie set, come on!). So I see it like this, loved Tobey Maquire for the awkwardness he brings to peter but he did look a little to old for the setting, that being said, Spiderman 2 with Doc Oc is amazing and my fave story and movie. Andy Garfields heart was in the right place and the films were fun but just had too many characters and too much love story, that being said, Andy Garfields body looks the most like spidey does in my head. Now Tom Holland, age appropriate for the setting and also he has the athleticism that makes him amazing as Spidey, just felt like the movie was more of the same we have come to expect from Disney/Marvel.

Thank God Sony got a hint and let Marvel help them out with this franchise.

This is the homecoming I’ve been waiting for! I would actually give this movie 4.5 stars but since I can’t, I’m giving it 5. It’s not perfect but it is the best Spider-Man movie since 2002, if not equal to it. Spider-Man: Homecoming is a lot of fun to watch and they did a really good job on most of the 3D scenes. Peter Parker can get a little annoying at times in this one but he makes up for it with all the quips he tosses out as Spider-Man. Overall I really enjoyed watching it and I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone with even a remote interest in Spider-Man! 4.5 out of 5 stars

Fun movie for all ages. Can’t wait for the next one to come out on video

not everyone agrees, but most people i talk to say this is the best spider-man we've had in a long time. i grew up watching the animated series in the 90s and this spider-man reminded me the most of that. he has that sarcastic banter and kid attitude but still has the fun and deep plot structure that the MCU brings to all their movies. it does a good job of not doing a lot of "origin story" for a character we've seen the origin of too many times already. they quickly move past that and get to the fun of watching spider-man grow into a hero and learn what it means to be part of the team.
