    Spider-Man upgrade from blu-ray to 4k

Great movie & a really nice upgrade from blu-ray to 4k. There was a nice Best Buy deal on Marvel movies around the holidays so it was the perfect time to upgrade my Marvel collection from blu-ray to 4k. Spider-Man both looks & sounds better with the 4K upgrade. Some seem to prefer the blu-ray version of this movie, but as this comes with the Blu-ray & digital copy, it seemed like a no-brainer to me.

    The Spider-Man I've Always Wanted

Finally A Spider-Man film that truly captures the spirit of the legendary wall-crawler. The film eschews the origin story and gives a fresh and exciting take on Spider-Man. No longer is he sequestered from The Marvel Universe. He's home in The MCU. This film also delivered something that most comic book films fail to do, create a fleshed out three dimensional villain. That alone makes it stand out from this year's crop superhero films. It's the only one that bothered to create a compelling villain

    The "Best" Spiderman film yet...

I put "Best" in quotes as my son and I are of differing opinions of which is better. He likes Spiderman 1 with Tobey Maguire and rates this one slightly below it. I am the opposite. Everything "worked" in this film. But it only slightly nudges Spiderman 1 from my #1 slot in my humble opinion. (Neither of us care for The Amazing Spider-Man films... how two Academy award winners can be so unbelievable in their roles of Uncle Ben and Aunt May boggles the mind...lol). Cannot wait for the next film. :)

Thank you Best Buy for releasing this title again. I missed it the first time around but now that I have it my Marvel steelboo collection is complete. If you're a completist like me, don't think twice and get this edition. If not, I'd suggest you stick with the bluray edition unless you find the 4k one at a bargain. There really isn't much difference between 4k and 1080p

6th time's a charm. Best Spider-Man movie by far. I purchased the 3D set, which includes a digital copy, a blu-ray copy and a 3D blu-ray copy. While I did see the film in the theatre and loved it, I haven't watched the disc yet, so I can't speak to how good the extras are, how crisp the picture is or how great the 3D conversion is. "Winter Soldier" and "Civil War" look great on my 3D tv, so I think it's safe to assume this will look just as good if not better. Now if only 4kHDR 3D existed!

Great movie, lots of fun and fast paced. Tom Holland nails a Peter Parker/Spiderman combo that neither Andrew Garfield or Toby Maguire were quite able to achieve. Past movies had a slightly darker look and tone, the plots tended to be choppy and patched together in a way that ruined the pacing. In Homecoming these issues have mostly been resolved and is well worth the watch. While the plot is fairly straightforward, the journey itself, although enjoyable, doesn't always makes sense or relies too much on coincidence. Also the villain, played by Micheal Keaton was great, although he felt more threatening outside the suit than in it. He stole any scene he was in and it was a joy to see the man that brought Batman to life in the old Tim Burton movie play the bad guy.

    Best Spide-Man

There have been 3 different actors portraying Spider-Man recently and I to say Tom Holland has nailed. Seems like he came straight out of the comics. The movie is pretty accurate to what I remembered as a child from the Spider-Man comics; a young high school kid, very excited about everything, web shooters instead of webs coming out of his wrists are what I remember from the comics. Micahel Keaton played an excellent villain as the updated Vulture and Robert Downey Jr as always did a comic book perfect Iron Man. The movie kept me interested from begininng to the end with lots of action and incredible CGI. Best Spider-Man movie yet!! I really liked how they tied in fight scene from Captain America Cival War when the Avengers were fighting at the airport..very nice.

Great Retelling of the Spider-Man Story!

This retelling of the Spider-Man story is great and fits in with he rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe perfectly. This is way different than Sam Raimi's adaptation and probably more appealing to younger audiences as opposed to Raimi's. The movie can be goofy at times and serious at others, which is done very well. Good movie, but you should have previous knowledge of the MCU to understand it completely.

All Spider-Man played their character well. You can’t compare it . Tobi played like Spider-Man, Andrew played it like amazing Spider-Man, and Tom did exactly like homecoming. Awesome performance by all Spider-Man actors. Just like Ben Aflect nailed Batman and Bruce and non comic readers or fan wondering why his bat suit is not black and hate it. Till I told them that’s from the comic book and still can’t get the feel of it. It’s good that non of the Spider-Man movie repeated a villain.

I was shocked to be as pleased as I was for this one. Everyone should technically have burn out from this character but this adaptation feels fresh and new. It wasn't that terribly long ago that Tobey Maguire's SM was great and still holds up a bit now. Andrew Garfield's SM was very very average and pretty boring. This one just feels different. Great use of the character and having Marisa Tomei in it definitely helps imo (she's still on my personal list of hollywood hotties)

Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker returns home to live with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark, Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as Spider-Man. He also tries to return to his normal daily routine -- distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighborhood superhero. Peter must soon put his powers to the test when the evil Vulture emerges to threaten everything that he holds dear.

Just okay. Don't care for the kid who played Spider-Man. Loved the choice for Aunt May. But that's about it. Glad I bought the DVD instead of the Blu-ray. Saved money buying DVD. Would have saved even more if I rented from Redbox. Wish I did.

    The best Spider-Man movie

A lot of people argue about what's the best superhero movie and a lot of people argue over what's the best Spider-Man movie. This movie may not be the best superhero movie, but it most certainly is the best Spider-Man movie. Don't get me wrong, I do like Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, except the third one, but this one captures every single aspect of the character of Spider-Man/Peter Parker that makes him an amazing hero. And Michael Keaton as the Vulture is quite chilling.

    Another Spider-Man Re-Boot

A second re-boot in the Spider-Man franchise. This time Spider-Man has a mentor in Tony Stark who gives him an advanced technological suit to enhance the use of his spider powers and tries to advise him not to rush to become a super hero and to just be a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. This is a fresh start for the Spider-Man franchise as he is not an adult but a teenager growing up and acting impulsively who wants to become a super hero and eventually an avenger too soon.
