Marvel takes over the Spider-Man franchise from Sony and reboots your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man once again. Thankfully, like pretty much all the other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, they did a great job. This one was lots of fun and feels like a fresh start for the Spider-Man franchise.

I missed out on buying this steelbook when it was released 3 years ago, so I was thrilled to see it come back in stock. Even though I already owned this title in 4K, I couldn't help but snatch this up for the amazing steelbook artwork.

Wait, what's this? No retelling of the backstory? No need to rehash? They finally got it, we know why Peter Parker is Spidey, and we don't need to waste the first half of the movie with that... It's almost like, dare I say it? The director knew that we're not going into their this Blind...

I really enjoyed this movie in theaters, so I could not wait for it to release. Once I saw this steelbook I knew I HAD to get it, and I’m sure glad I did. The artwork on this might be one of my absolute favorites. The movie itself is great and everything about this is as good as you could want.

Although many would argue that Spider-Man 2 is still the best Spidey film I would argue that this one is tied to that if not very close. The best and most faithful adaptation of Peter Parker yet with lots of humor and a great message without wasting time on another origin story. Get it on Blu-ray.

This has to be my favorite version of the Spiderman franchise. I really like Tom Holland as Spiderman versus the previous two actors who portrayed him. Maybe it's because he seems younger and more innocent than his predecessors. I especially like how this movie is tied into the Marvel universe.

Welcome back to the Marvel universe Spiderman. While i did like the previous Sony incarnation, I enjoy the younger version who is much more relatable to my children, as that alone has always been one of the most alluring features of the hero. The film is very well done, and the vibrant colors really POP in HDR 4K and make it a very visually stunning film. Also a plus is the included digital copy for when you need it on the go say a plane or long car/train ride.

I felt like a traitor loving this more than the Tobey Spiderman movies, but Tom Holland is perfect as highschool Spidey. I also love the connections to the MCU, it doesn’t feel forced, and it could lead to some really interesting setups down the road.

This is without a doubt the best Spiderman film to come out. It perfectly ties him into the MCU (even leading up to that scene from Civil War) and is a brilliant comeback for Spiderman given the subpar movies he's been subjected to in the past. I'd definitely recommend picking this one up!

Great Spidey flick!! Michael Keaton is phenomenal as the villain Vulture. Spiderman is learning o under the guidance of Tony Stark, balancing normal high school life with being a superhero in trying to stop a vicious new villain.

Bought on Black Friday because I've never used my One X's disk drive to play a 4k movie and wanted to see if the quality better than streaming UHD. It was better but at normal price not enough better to stop renting UHD from Vudu.

Fan of the Marvel films, so I added it to my movie collection. Then find out M.J. is a college student who won't go inside the Washington Monument because it was built by slaves. Did nothing to advance the story line, but was an attempt to influence a mass audience to a leftist ideology.

Perfect beginning to the Tom Holland arc and what an endearing and beautifully written story. You really feel for the characters and I couldn’t have asked for a better spider-man (except Toby ;)

I absolutely love this movie. I was a bit skeptical because I honestly enjoyed the Amazing Spider-Man movies, but Holland nails it. This is as relatable (at least as far as the awkward high school stuff goes) as it is enjoyable. And I think Keaton is at his best as a villain. He's awesome.

My 8 yr old granddaughter is obsessed with Spiderman. But she did not watch this movie through to the end. Prolly made for older kids.

Thankful Best Buy had this DVD BD available in the store. Spider-Man movies are hard to find. Great movies. Great customer service. Trying to collect all Spider-Man movies. This movie is really good. Would recommend it to all

Admittedly I was leary how good this movie would be. I love the Amazing Spider-Man series a lot. This was just as good but in a different way. I think the refrancising of the series is going to be good. Looking forward to seeing where the writers takes the series. Enjoyed this as well in 4K

Enjoyed the majority of the movie, but did have a couple of sexual references that were un-needed and added no value to the movie.

This movie was a great surprise to me. I had no real expectations going in, as the last couple of Spider-Man movies had been unmemorable, but this one was very good, and very funny. As for the specifications on the disc, the 3D was reproduced in excellent fashion and the picture was good.

Was "Spider-Man: Homecoming" phenomenal? No, but it succeeded where most of Sony's previous Spider-Man movie attempts failed. It was fun and didn't allow itself to get bogged down (for the hundredth time) retelling Spidey's origin story. Some casting was spot-on (Tom Holland, Michael Keaton) while others completely miss the mark (I'm looking at you, Zendaya as "MJ). Still, overall, a welcome addition to the overall Marvel Cinematic Universe.
