    M. Night Shyamalan is really good at making very tense set pieces in his films and this one has a few. One element that makes this just a good film, not an excellent one, is some very stupid female characters, a trope in horror movies I thought was over...but then this would be very short movie. Make no mistake the main attraction here is McAvoy's performance[s]!!! The 'Shyamalan Twist ' at the end isn't really a twist, but a sly wink at the past, and a knowing future sequel.

I'm not a fan of M. Night Shyamalan, so when this movie came out in theatres I wasn't really crazy about. But when I stumbled upon it at Best Buy for the low price of 9.99 I decided I would give it a shot, and I was not disappointed. It had a very good story and the acting by James McAvoy was excellent. It was a great fill to expand on the Unbreakable universe.

Split was quite a surprise from director M night Shamalyan. His past few films have been declining in quality and this one turns things around. Its tense and suspenseful with outstanding performances fromt he whole cast especially James McAvoy and Anya Taylor Johnson. Easily one of last years best horror/thriller films. Check this one out if you can

If you like psychology you will enjoy this movie. The mind is beautiful...even when it forces us to act out of the "norm". The two main characters are talented and were good at acting the parts, but I could tell they were acting... it was in their eyes, it seemed forced. Still deserves a 5 star, it was more than entertainment, it makes you think.

    M. Night Shyamalan is Back!

Well, I think it's safe to say that M. Night Shyamalan has finally redeemed himself with this suspenseful flick. It's about time!!! I loved the characters and most of the acting. However, the ending kind of lost it for me. The entire film was realistic and really drew me in . . . except for the ending. The ending had more of a horror/sci-fi kind of feeling to it and all realism went out the window. Overall, however, this is a great popcorn flick.

If you like M. Night Shyamalan's movies, you will like Split. If you liked Unbreakable, you must see Split. M. Night's movies have been hit or miss with me and this one while decent moved up in my eyes based on the very end of the movie with the ***SPOILER ALERT*** tie in to Unbreakable. The end of the trilogy coming in 2019 with Glass.

This is a nice little horror film with more than meets the eye. James McAvoy plays a psycho with multiple personalities and he sells it so well. What you may not know is, this film has a lose connection to M. Night's Unbreakable film. Bruce Willis makes a cameo appearance at the end to set up the next Unbreakable film called "Glass"

I was skeptical walking in on this one, but I'm happy to say that all my fears were assuaged by minute five. This is classic Shyamalan, right down to the twist (though, I can say from experience that having this one's twist spoiled for you doesn't ruin the experience). A true return to form from a director I was sure we'd lost to his own ego.

This movie explores the world of split personalities. One personality kidnaps three teenage girls and what happens to them. The main actor James McAvoy is an amazing actor and bring every personality to life. It is written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan but is it much better then his last few movies. It reminding me of his earlier movies.

This was a good psychological thriller written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. It is the second movie in the Unbreakable trilogy of movies. Even if you have not seen the first movie in this series, this one stands tall on its own. James McAvoy literally steals the show.

Includes digital copy of the film. I enjoyed this movie, horror/ suspense. Some violence and intense situations, some blood, if you want to decide if it’s appropriate for kids Probly need to read one of the movie analysis breakdown sites. I enjoyed and would recommend.

This is the first M. Night movie I have liked in some time. James McAvoy really did a terrific job in this movie. I'm a bigger fan of his after seeing this movie than I was before it. The smaller budget of the movie puts more emphasis on the story. It really did have an independent kind of feel, and I would recommend it.

Split is a good film. It does get annoying in the beginning when the two teenage girls co-star are on screen. However once they have less screen time this film really picks up. If your a fan of M. Night this is a must see. The twist at the end was one I was wanted for a long long time. No. Spoilers. Those who ain't fans may feel confused or feel lost of how it ends. Overall best-movie ever out of worst movie ever.

Spoiler included..... M. Night Shyamalan has crafted a masterpiece with Split. I enjoyed his last film The Visit but he outdid himself with Split. James McAvoy owned the role of Kevin. Phenomenal job. I was thrilled to see the tie-in to Unbreakable. Even more excited to know that a sequel is in the works. Split is a must see.

A movie that I just loved therefore had to have for the set. 4k for me is a must and this was in stock when I wanted it. Others I have watched this with have enjoyed it. I don't buy movies other than at Best Buy. Streaming after registering is easy. It works.

I was afraid this would be another Shyamalan movie that had a great preview, but failed to execute. And man, was I wrong. Split was a great thriller film that was consistent from start to finish! It also has an interesting ending instead of some mind f***, off the wall one...haha. Makes you wonder, is Shyamalan back?!?

This was a terrific movie, that can be a bit difficult to watch from the abducting girls angle, but seeing James McAvoy play all the different personalities that live in his body was truly a joy to see. Good story, and like most M. Night Shamalan, the end has a twist, but if you are paying attention, you have it figured out long before the end. See if you spot it, like most of us did not in Sixth Sense.
