M. Night Shyamalan's "Split" is a suspenseful thriller with a twist-laden third act that culminates in--well, I wouldn't dare give it away. James McAvoy is terrific as a dangerous man with multiple personalities, and Anya Taylor-Joy is just as strong as a resourceful teenage girl who must escape when she and two classmates are abducted.

Wow!!! Absolutely loved this movie. James McAvoy is so good playing a personal with dissociative identity disorder (DID) with 23 different identities and a dreaded 24th waiting to get out. A must watch especially if you are a fan of Shyamalan's previous works.

Honestly I haven't liked an M Night film in 15 years, but from the recommendation of friends I purchased the movie to watch since it was on sale at Best Buy. Have to say worth the purchase hands down, M Night finally is back with a really well done thriller. Don't want to leave any spoilers, just that it's more the worth the watch.

This movie kept me on the edge of my sofa the entire movie. I did not know that I had several other movies with James in them. Went back to review and to watch again those movies. He is also in several movies coming out now and I will watch them for sure.

Split is the best psychological and horror film I have seen in a long time. You can really see how childhood trauma can affect a person later in life. In some ways you feel sorry for the antagonist for his illness. But I would definitely recommend this film.

This movie really capitalized on James McAvoy's talents, and Shyamalan stuck with his classic need to throw in a good plot twist. What I really enjoyed was a slightly different approach to MPD, how we self-identify, and what our potential could actually be.

A good sequel to a superhero franchise. Not scary but suspenseful.

Split is a slow burn thriller. It might be slow for some and some might not like what McAvoy actually is, but I love that part of the movie. I wish it was rated r because there could have gone a little further and I think that would have been nice.

One of the more recent horror movies that in my opinion is a Classic! When I saw this came out in 4K I just had to snatch it up, amazing picture makes you feel like you're down there with him. Grab this & add it to your horror movie collection!

Crazy. But good movie showing g the dark side of multiple personality disorder. I think this is one of his best performances, each character is clearly defined and when switching between characters the editing and timing are superb.

Great movie which is part of a atrilogy with glass and unbreakable being the other 2 this film is about split personalities and stars the guy from the X-Men.

I cannot say enough about this movie. James McAvoy simply deserves an Oscar amongst other awards for his performance. M. Night is on top with his writing once again alongside The Visit. I tried to find something else good to watch afterwards but gave up.

This movie was better than expected . It's a semi suspense , horror story . James McAvoy gives a tremendous performance. This movie is a cut above most of its type. Keeps you glued and in suspense throughout the story. There's danger at any given time.

Split is M. Night Shyamalan's best film since Unbreakable. It is highlighted by a great performance by James McAvoy who is remarkable. To stay too much would give away too many of the pleasures of discovery. Just see it and be ready to be hooked.

m. night shyamalan is back to form, including his trademark twist. The terror begins when a man with multiple personalities kidnaps three girls. What does he want with them? Can they escape? Will someone find them? A must see for fans of the genre.

Without giving anything away, this movie was a return to form from M. Night. Its strengths? The genuine, believable performance from rising star Anya Taylor-Joy, the type of performance that draws everyone in. As for James McAvoy - you just have to see for yourself. He was unsettling, exactly what was required of him.

Not the best movie, but still worth watching. James McAvoy's character has 23 personalities, but you only see about 5 of them. I give this movie 5 stars because of the fantastic performance he gives playing all the different characters.

I'm a huge James McAvoy fan and by far one of his best roles is in this movie. not to mention the supporting cast. the writing was great as well. highly recommend if you're a horror/suspense fan. will keep you at the edge of your seat.

M. Night Shyamalan gets back to his roots exploring real-world phenomena, and presents a great stand alone movie that just so happens to be a sequel to one of my favorite movies of his (Unbreakable). Thought provoking and well acted.
