Well, there's really not much to review! Spotlight won the Academy Award for Best Picture of the year and that was enough reason for me to go out and buy it! And after viewing it I concur that it was an awesome movie.

Finally a movie based on true reality regarding the misconduct scandal in the Catholic Church in Boston. Boston was the worse Diocese for cover ups. All real and no outside sensational fluff condemning all Catholics.

Didn't know about this movie until my wife came across it at Best Buy, Once we watched it we fully understood why it won the Best Movie in '15. What the movie shows is fairly disturbing too.

This movie was touching and sad. It relived truly ugly moments in America 's religious history. I am glad that this was written in such a way that was respectful, touching and truthful. Kudos to the film writer!

This movie was an awesome, outstanding and eye opening movie. It brings to light an utterly horrific incident. It was told in a wonderful manner by writers and brought to life with some outstanding actors.

Great movie, kept me interested throughout. Performances by actors also above par. Quality of blu ray fantastic as well as sound. Digital copy also a plus since I am able to stream it on my VUDU account.

There are so many stories done about the scandal in the Catholic Church, but this movie was outstanding in its depiction of how the Boston Globe exposed it. A great tribute to Investigative Reporting.

This movie definitely gets inside how journalists do investigative work; even when their readers oppose the investigation in the first place. Definitely deserving of the oscar for best picture.

Spotlight won best movie of the year in 2016. It was more than one of the most compelling and dramatic movies I’ve watched in a long time! Highly recommend everyone see it.

This film is truly a films film. Great acting, directing, storytelling and brutally honest as it is based on true events. This is the kind of movies that should be on peoples mouths for months on end.

We almost didn't buy it because another customer at the store said that she didn't like it. We took a chance and bought it. Glad we did! Both my husband and I loved this movie. Very, very eye opening.

Spotlight deserved every award that it received. Excellent acting with the cast working together was exceptional. The script was nothing but incredible. An important movie that everyone should see.

When this film won the Oscar for best picture, I went out and bought it the next day. Thank goodness I did because the film is fantastic, the story pulls you in and you want to learn more and how they're going to uncover the truth. 9/10 for me, definitely pick this one up, you won't be disappointed!

This is a really great film. The cast was fantastic and the story was excellent, knowing it was based on a true story made it even better and creepier. I see why this won the Oscar for best picture.

In tune with a movie like All the President's Men, this movie on the media's investigation and exposure of the Catholic Church child molestation issues is riveting and insightful. Worth the watch.

I highly recommend purchasing this movie so you can watch it over and over again. All the actors were excellent! Great story, unfortunately it is true. Especially for us Catholics.

I heard about this movie from many friends and family and wanted to watch to see what it was about and I was not disappointed. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone. It definitely deserved the many accolades and nominations that it received. Rating this movie 4 almost 5 stars.
