the movie tells the story of what happened, but does not delve into the root cause of the abuse but really describes the cover up. Acting superb.

Great movie! The true story of how the Boston Globe uncovered the massive scandal of child molestation and cover-up within the local Catholic Archdiocese, shaking the entire Catholic Church to its core.

This movie offered a lot of insight into the true story it is based on. The acting is amazing by all involved. Definitely worth watching.

The movie is certainly interesting and it makes a great point about the power of the fourth estate, but it still kind of lacked. Compared to some of the best picture winners from recent years, this movie doesn't measure up.

The movie is great. Very strong acting from the cast and the story is definitely something everyone should learn about. Highly recommend!

Spotlight is about the history that leads up to the Boston Globes newspaper articles that appeared in 2002, that exposed local Catholic priests abusing children and the perpetrators' superior's, who covered up those abuses. It's a very intense subject and a well scripted film., The films various characters discuss all the wrongs that were done to them, so it isn't an easy film to watch, but the movie does offer up some valuable messages about the importance of truthfully exposing the wrongs, and of course about making those who abuse their powers accountable for these criminal acts and responsible for the cover up.

I saw this movie in the theater, after it won the Oscar for Best Picture...and getting the combo pack was essential. Highly recommended.

Great movie, well written screen play. I don't think Mark Ruffalo got enough credit for what he did here. Absolutely worth the watch

Good movie to make us understand some of the motivations behind the revelations we heard about years ago. It is still an issue today!!

The film and its presentation on the disc are wonderful, but precious little available in the way of bonus features. I wish behind-the-scenes documentaries and featurettes weren't on their way out so dramatically...

I thought this movie was an excellent bargain, and a truely insightful, and suspenseful movie. Highly recomend! Tony
