An outstanding cast in a film that was nominated and won numerous awards. Does a great job unfolding the subject matter in what was a very shocking and important revelation.

I had never seen the movie but heard some of the comments when it came out so knew its subject. The price was right to add it to my over-crowded library.

This is a really great movie. True story about the conspiracy in the churches around Boston back in the day. Highly recommended if you like a good drama

Some people say it's impossible to love someone who's Catholic. This movie gives credence to that belief when a crack news team assembles in a modern day Narnia to stop the spread of Catholocism and spread the word of the one true faith...mormonism. God bless!

This one really deserve the OScar , it talks carefully about a theme most of the people don't even wonder, and others just don't what to talk about, Excellent Movie !

Although it can be a little slow, it's still an enjoyable film. Good acting, good production values and decent script. I've seen better developed stories that have more gravitas and impact, but this is still a thoroughly enjoyable film and important story.

The Globe exposed the church to stop the evil it was doing. Great cast wow was impressed with the acting and story. So heart wrenching poor victims. Very good movie.

Great film and shows the story of how an epidemic of wrong doings by the church were brought to light. Never really makes it hard to watch but gets the point across.

the search for the truth and justice is definitely a difficult journey. this film illustrates how difficult the truth is to get when it shouldn't be. moving film.

I was curious to watch the film after knowing that spotlight had won a oscar for best film. So i purchase it as soon as I found out that best buy had it for only $9.99 I went straight to best buy to buy it.it a good movie bUT i really expected better..

The script is so good and the performances too. The film keeps you in suspense due the great history. This film deserved the Oscar this year. 100% recommendable.

After all the Oscar buzz & hype, my expectations were high. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations but it was still a good & compelling film. Last film that I can recall exceeding my expectations after winning best picture was Braveheart.

The acting in this film was outstanding. Was it the best picture of the year? I don't know. But it was one of the best and certainly better than "The Revenant."

I loved this movie recommend it it is a sad movie but at the end it makes you feel good that the priests were discovers if the conspiracy in the Catholic church

We enjoyed the movie. The subject matter is controversial and quite interesting. Characters don't make for extraordinary performances but they are good overall.

Top stars, top quality, multiple awards ... and important history of corruption & coverup. I use this one for my classes in Criminal Justice.
