I wanted a docking station for my customers to use. It appears this docking station is only for charging my square reader, which already came with it's own charger. Confusing.

The Dock keeps your reader charged, and also presents it on an angle that makes inserting, and tapping cards a little easier. If you've got a countertop at your store, it also means that your reader stays in the one spot, and looks neat!

As soon as the reader inserts into this, the phone loses connection. This will only work if you have a square POS terminal.

Posted .Sorry for the confusion there. The dock is intended to be plugged into our Square Stand while in use or just for charging when you're not using the reader with your phone.
