Easy to use, gets the job done. Sort of annoying that the chip reader isn't attached to the main unit but that has been fixed with the integrated chip reader with the newer models. My staff loves that it is pretty easy to set up out of the box but from a business perspective--Square is really expensive as a credit card processor so you are likely going to save a lot of money going with a different system all together. IF you are looking for something easy to use out of the box AND you already use Square--then this is very user friendly but get the newer version of the Square stand. The hardware costs alone are pretty negligible as you are really paying via your credit card processing fees---so I'd say it is definitely worth it in the long term to see other credit card processing solutions. Bottom line: You can't beat the user friendly nature of Square and Square's products but don't let the low hardware costs fool you. This is definitely the way to go IF you are set on using Square.

The Square stand makes it easy to process transactions. The base is stable, the contactless reader makes it easy to tap for payment, and the overall Square system is super fast on processing.

Love how smooth the interface of the iPad air sits in the stand with no issues. The quality of the stand is nice with the contactless chip payment as well. Recently, I have added the cash drawer and printer and love the square capabilities with my iPad air. The stand is perfect if you already have the iPad and is cost efficient to work smoothly with more attachments.

A good terminal if you dont have a computer nearby your point of sale. It is great as a standalone system, however if you have a PC by the counter get the square terminal as its both much cheaper (after buying ipad plus stand) and its just as fast and no hassles spinning back and forth.

Value for the owners. It works well, except the lighting port. The first one was damaged when my niece pulled it out, instead of popping the edge up 1/4" and then sliding the iPad out. If you own this, it's pretty much all you need to know.
