Absolutely amazing and easy product

This square register has met all of those needs. The battery lasts two days straight and it is quick and snappy when processing cards. My clients love the interface and the way that it looks. One last thing to point out is that it literally took me less than 45 seconds to set it up.

Tip for others buying this: get a dedicated hotspot, or set your phone to a hotspot. Don't run in offline if you can avoid it. Had a customers card be accepted offline, but was actually declined when we connected back to the internet. Square will not help you recover the declined payment, their policy on offline payment is basically "If you run cards offline, we can't help."

Worth Every Penny!

The form factor is good (a bit heavy, but understandable, given the battery, screen and receipt printer incorporated into the unit), but there's a secret in the design--there's a threaded receptacle built into the base of this unit, and that receptable is exactly the same size and thread as a standard camera mount! I don't know even one viable option beyond this unit (other than phone-based stuff). It has never failed to process a transaction (connected to the Internet through my phone's hotspot).
