    It is not what I expected. I had to purchase a “hot spot” in order for it to work properly. I didn’t know that I needed internet in order for it to work on my food truck.

If your internet connection becomes interrupted or temporarily unavailable, you can enable Offline Mode to accept swiped card payments with the Square Terminal.     Very good item. However, it did drop the connection connected to wifi outdoors, So, we had to connect to Tethering on the phone and it was great. Money earned was able to be transferred to the bank account in less than 5 minutes. Overall it's a good terminal so far.

    I’ve always used the square for my business needs but it was the mag stripe. I upgraded to this recently and LOVE it: its super easy and even print a receipt : would buy the again for sure
