I purchased an Emerge gaming chair for my home office several years ago that has been solid with no problems. So when I needed a new chair for my business office, I chose Emerge again.
WRONG CHOICE!
This chair (item #53242V) is a piece of junk. Just two months in with normal use, and the elevation control doesn't bring the chair up to full height and not to my comfort level.
Also, the base is unstable: the seat sits loose on it and it pops when I move around, like it's about to collapse.
As to the chair portion, the rocker is extremely rigid, even at its loosest setting, and I almost throw my back out trying to recline in it.
Bottom line: AVOID THIS PRODUCT!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
