I originally viewed part of this movie on an 8K display at BB. Now that I've seen it in 4K on our display recently purchased, there's no going back. Wow!!

Bought it just for the steelbook. A great deal at the current price point. A word of caution - mine was clearly a return. The product was reshrunkwrapped. It had a small ding on the front that the previous customer probably returned for. Not a big deal for me at this low price though.

I have never watched any of the original Star Treks and I am by no means a Trekkie. This movie was very well made and allowed casual watchers to understand Star Trek and to enjoy it. I recommend it for fans and casual watchers.

I don't consider myself a trekkie,so going into the movie i had more of an open mind then the fanatics for the old series or movies. I got to say it was a surprised to see the reception this movie got from both sides of the spectrum of fandom.

I was surprised at this Star Trek reboot. Better than I expected. I still didn't care for the engine room. I could tell it was present day technology stuffed into a 23rd century starship. I didn't care for those bulbous Nacelles on the Enterprise. Nitpicky stuff I have.

I own the blu ray but just had to have all 3 Star Trek movies on 4k disc. What an awesome picture. HDR really makes a difference. Colors and images are spectacular! Make sure you have a true 4k player. Pick them all up at Best Buy and enjoy the ride.

We loved the movie. Finally got to see how Riker was before his commission and so on. Great graphics. Loved the whole movie! My husband has watched it at least 4 times now. It was enjoyable and I even stayed awake during the whole movie! Great movie to add to the collection.

This is an excellent presentation of this Star Trek movie. The 5.1.2 Atmos Effects were great. Explosions were realistic and the sound effects came from the correct locations.

Based on this UHD Blu Ray, you could not tell this movie was 7 years old! Looks utterly fantastic and sounds great too. As long as you have an HDR enabled tv, I would say this is a must own for fans, even those who already own the standard blu ray.

Being a fan of the original ST, I was worried at first but even seeing it in 09 at the theatre I was hooked. Even my wife, who is not really into sci-fi loved this and Into Darkness. Bottom line.....Couldn't have been a better reboot of a classic.

I'm using this with an Xbox one S and a 55" 4K tv without HDR, and this movie looks absolutely gorgeous. Crystal clear shots of the ship and characters, it's like you're looking into a window with the movie actually happening on the other side!

I don't buy every movie on blu-ray. Gut busters and shoot-em-ups upconvert nicely. This is something that is worthy of the BD treatment. You'll appreciate the cinematography at least as much as the plot and even your friends who are not Trekkies will sit through the movie.

What a great film! JJ Abrams did the original films and show, Star Trek, justice and revived the franchise! Do yourself a favor and buy the 4k blu-ray! It's amazing and beautiful! What a way to watch a wonderful script and action-packed film!

I purchased this movie to see the 4K quality and atmos sound of my new home theater. I Gotta say I was blown away. The sound in this movie is awesome. It feels like you’re there. The 4K video quality is incredible ..

I was thrilled when Best Buy decided to release some movies on Blu Ray in these Steelbook cases. They look really cool! The artwork is awesome too! The price in store was just under $12.00 each. That's a great bargain for a Blu Ray. I have no complaints at all.

Hands down one of the best 4k viewing experiences I have watched on my setup. Love all the Trekkie remakes. This is a delicate series to tackle and JJ does a fine job with this one. Dont want to give the plot away but yes I follows the tradition. HDR made my blu ray look like it was in 480p. Great addition to the collection

I like the Star Trek franchise. I purchased all three movies with no regrets. The new cast for the recent movies play their characters excellently. The cinematography, computer graphics and sound are awesome. Two thumbs up!!!

This is the first Star Trek movie I've ever seen. Never liked it, Star Wars fan. BUT, I gotta give credit where credit is due. The storyline, visual & sound effects were awesome! So good that I bought & watched the second one. Highly recommend for any SciFi fans.

This is a stunning life like 4K movie set. It also contains a Blu-ray feature film along with a second special features Blu-ray disc as well as digital HD. A must own for all Star Trek fans.
