In my opinion the best of the Star Trek reboots. Kirk fights the bad guy, gets the girls, he even has the same first name as Mr Bond. Great action sequences and special effects combined with a great script make for a great movie.

I loved watching the shows as a kid. i watched most of the series including the one this is based after. the latest one they have made isn't as great as the first. i would still reccomend buying and watching all three of these movies.

This Star Trek movie holds a special place in my heart, it’s the first Blu Ray movie I ever saw; the first real HD movie I ever saw, and it blew me away. 8 years later, the UHD version puts it to shame. Great improvement.

'Star Trek' movie was already good in the 1080p version. The newer 4K UHD version adds more to the image quality with HDR and the WCG along with a slight increase in resolution detail.

I really enjoyed this movie. I have always liked the star trek movies although I am not a "trekky". The movie was fun to see the younger view of the star trek characters and the actors did a great job of representing them.

This movie was excellent in 1080p. It absolutely rocks in 4K. The great story line and special/sound affects are top notch. If you have a nice surround sound system, this movie is a must for your collection.

This is how you reboot a franchise and this is how it's done with a great director whose passionate about the material & characters, seeing this in theaters was a great experience and made me a fan of the series, live long and prosper

I am a huge sci-fi fan, but I believe this was a phenomenal remake of the classic TV series. It does not cater only to sci-fi lovers, as the series so clearly did. It's action-packed, yet has much drama/ conflict and even romance! It's a must see!

This movie had me riveted from beginning to end. Great story-line showcasing the childhood (and beyond), of Captain Kirk, with tremendous acting from a whole bunch of new but charismatic players....Must see!

What a great movie. if you like sci-fi this will be one of the best ones that you will see. Very good storyline good action really fun to watch and a very good plot.

Love the new series of Star Trek, and the 4K really enhanced the special effects. Will probably now have to look for the next two movies in the series in 4K. Helps having the new Sony, so great combination.

This movie is great and watching it in HDR with 4k is even better. Not certain if the physical disc has dolbyvision as my 4k player doesn’t support Dolby but the digital redeemed on iTunes definitely does.

I recall marveling over Star Trek when it came out on Blu-ray. This 4K version takes the movie to an entirely new dimension with a solid video and audio upgrade. If you need a reason to make the jump to 4K, this is it!

The original Star Trek film series is one of the greatest film series of all time. The new Star Trek film has to be one of the greatest re-do's of a film. Everything about it awesome. The effects, plot, acting and homage payed to the original series and actors is bittersweet. You won't be disappointed watching this movie. I've seen it several times. It's one of those movies you can watch over and over again.

Great sound on this movie and a great movie in general. Probably the best Star treck movie in my opinion. The 4K version is worth it if you have a home theater

By far the best UHD movie I have seen. The color and sound quality can not be matched. The picture is so crispt and clear you can actually read what is on the Romulan computer terminals. It's a must have for any Star Trek fan.

The movie itself is fantastic and I'm sure you'd know that if you're looking at this product at all. The UHD version is great. It's not a huge difference from the standard Blu ray but it's definitely an improvement.

Seeing Star Trek in 4k is an amazing viewing experience. There is a noticeable improvement in picture quality over the Blu-ray edition and the HDR gives the film a richer, deeper color grading. Highly recommended!

This movie has lots of action, suspense and humor. I thought Zachary Quinto and Chris Pines acted beautifully and played off each other well. I wasn't a fan of the show growing up, but i appreciated it and I love this new modern adaptation as well.
