I already own this great movie in more ways than one. Recently acquired a rare Steel Book version for my collection. There will some jealous collectors out there.

Enjoyable movie for everyone in the family . One of the best Star Trek series.

This is an awesome movie to own, then add 4K to the mix and it's a no brainer! It comes with a standard blu ray version, a 4K blu ray version and a digital copy.

The film itself is well executed, as in Star Trek tradition there are times of over acting. While providing a history to the TV series it may be hard for someone unfamiliar with the series to understand a lot of the references. The excitement and the thrill of Bold New Worlds was definitely there.

The enterprise had many captains, James T Kirk was great for the 70s audience, Chris Pines makes him relevant for this era.great movie for the low price of $8

Very difficult to make a successful movie after all the previous success. But I liked this movie as it depicts kirks early life and his start with star fleet and Spock, great job.

Good Blu Ray for the collection. Just watched it for a second time and then went to see the new movie, Into Darkness. We will be buying the new Star Trek movie when it is available.

if you like/love space movies, star trek movies, or movies in general, and have not seen the first star trek reboot, then blast off with this little humdinger of a movie. fantastic!

A fun space adventure with lots of eye candy. HDR is a must!

And no wonder that since 1966, Star Trek is still so popular. Chris Pine is an excellent replacement for Captain Kirk and this first movie does not disappoint.

I had seen this movie in regular DVD and liked it then, so I figured that I would see what it looked like in 4k. It's so much more defined in 4k

i have a sony 65" 4k HDR TV and i have the panasonic UB900 4k blu ray player both items i purchased from Best Buys the paanasonic player i purchase from Best buys online and the 2 having being calibrated work great star trek looks better on my tv than it did in the movies

As always, JJ Abrams kicks butt! His re-boot of the original Star Trek characters is great and sets the stage for future variations of familiar stories.

In this JJ Abrams reboot of Star Trek, there's a fresh new story, with the characters we've all come to love, and it's one of the most fun expireinces you'll have!

I never got into the old Star Trek movies and even had to be convinced to watch this one. Glad that I did though. Awesome actors, visual affects are great. A great movie overall!
