The movie was action packed and the plot was easy to follow and kept me involved. I enjoyed the special effects and cinematography. The actors fully captured the characters, though none of them looked like the original characters (what do you expect?). Great acting and plot and really enjoyed the movie.

Great movie and great concept to starting a new Star Trek movie for the new generation. Great storyline and awesome acting. Zachary Quinto, Eric Bana and Chris Pine did great.

Though the plot changes......... still a great addition to the series with amazing seat gripping action, drama, and romance with a occasional comedic whit star trek often has.

This is just a terrific movie with great new actors, fast action, and good plot. The film is simply Star Trek at its best. You will love the blooper reel...it rocks!!

My husband is a Trekie from way back and he loved the New Star Trek Movie, I even watched it and liked it a lot. It was so easy to order and it is here in no time.

The cast works well together. The man who plays Spock looks like the original Spock. I like how the discuss the backgrounds of Kirk and Spock.

This is a great buy for a recent movie. The 1080p resolution is the best and the movies special effects wow even me. As a dvd collector, Star Trek is a must have.

This is my first blu-ray movie. I'm very happy with the movie, the picture, and nearly all the extras. Only the BD-Live does nothing for me. It is just NASA news.

I'm a die hard Star Trek fan, and enjoyed seeing how it all began. It told the story of why Capt. Kirk is the way he is. It ties it all together.

The quality is amazing with 4K UltraHD HDR. I am happy Paramount chose Star Trek as one of its 4K launch titles.

I went to my local Best Buy specifically to pick up the 3 disc blu ray edition advertised on sale for $9.99, only to find the single disc edition available. Decided to buy it anyway so I wouldn't ruin movie night but it would've been nice to have that digital copy. As far as the film...loved it ALONG with Into The Darkness, which is surprising because I HATED Star Trek as a kid (thanks dad for making me watch it over and over lol!)

It was a good movie, a fresh look at Star Trek with an interesting plot and only one major error with the characters from the period.
