I love the first two new Star Trek movies and this is no exception. I haven't watched this in 4K yet, but I will be buying a 4K player soon and I hope its worth the upgrade.

Bought the regular Blu-Ray and surround sound didn't work. I needed something to push me to buy the 4K player as it was and that did it. Surround sound on the 4K is awesome.

Like the other newer star trek movies, this is not the same kind of movie as the original and wasn't meant to be.. this is an interesting sci fi series in its own right.

I bought thia for my recent 4k display that I got from Bed But and the quality of it during play is super crisp and the action keeps you going till the end.

I really enjoyed this movie. Star trek for me has always had great humanity related stories, its not always about the action, but also, about the human connection as well.

Simon Pegg done an excellent job of both writing and staring in this film. Chris Pine makes an excellent Captain Kirk. William Shatner should be proud of Pine.

The JJ Abrams movies were really well done (although too much shaking and flares). This one was not shot well in my opinion. I don't like how this director did his angles and shots, it seemed haphazard. Still, Star Trek rules!

This movie kept me on the edge of my seat practically start to finish. I really love the Star Trek reboot cast and genuinely hope they keep releasing more movies.

I really enjoy this newer series with it cast. I have been a Trek fan since it first came out decades ago. Still do.

and even if the movie, which was not that great in the theatre, looks great, it was not the best storyline. My son loves the Star trek family of films, so it was a gift.

This is review is for the video quality for the movie Star Trek...as expected the effects and sound quality of a 4k is great, going back to bluray and DVD will be hard

Would have given 5 stars but the infatuation of Hollywood pushing the lbgt(and whatever else) agenda gets a little tiring. Outside of that the story was really good and the special effects phenominal. May have to watch in 3D

I love watching movies with awesome visual effects now because of the 4K and HDR. This movie really takes advantage of it is just so awesome to watch

Another great movie in the Star Trek saga. If you grew up with the shows and movies it's great to see the catch phrases. The HD video is great. Good action and story.

I almost think the Blu-ray copy of this has a better picture. We may still need to make some picture/color adjustments, but we expected maybe too much from the 4k movie. Still, it's a great movie. So no complaints there.

This is a welcomed addition to an already great remake. The whole cast returned, great visual effects, and a fun and engaging story. I can't wait for a fourth one.

Even if you're not a Trekkie, you can enjoy this movie. With the new direction they've used for the revamp of the franchise, it is brining in a new generation.

Fun to see the same group as the saga continues. Nice to see some new faces, fun to see human interaction with them all. Good story line. Love the special affects.

Well if you have a true 4k blu-ray player and a 4k OLED tv then you ll love this movies with special affects and the vibrant colors and action also black levels for space if your a star trek fan your gonna love it!!!!!!
