I'll start by saying I didn't grow up on the original Star Trek shows/movies. But I love the new series. They were cast superbly and are very well done.

Saw all of the the Star Treks at the Theater so naturally I had to have it for my Bluray collection.There are some haters out there but we all enjoyed it.

I would definitely recommend this movie on Blu-ray for the graphics and picture quality. If your a fan of science fiction you should enjoy the story line.
