I am a lifelong Star Trek fan and I really like the reboot cast. This movie is the weakest of the three but it is still good. I am hoping they find a better script for the next one.

The movie is great, but this disc had a strange sound setting on it and I couldn't get any surround sound to work. Only would recommend if surround sound isn't important to you.

While the previous incarnations in the franchise were excellent, this one just kind of petered out. It's formulaic and about the only excellent part- was the Beastie Boys song

One has just got to watch all the Star Tek movies. This one is OK with lots of special effects has some goofy parts but overall worth watching and having in ones collection.

The movie delivers the expected visual effects and the main cast is superb. Storyline is a bit weak. All in all, fun to watch but the previous reboot offerings are superior.

Movie was entertaining and still love all the characters. Storyline was okay but preferred the previous two movies more in that regard. Great special effects and action.

I enjoyed the movie, but was expecting better. The best in this series (with the new "younger" cast) was the first Star Trek. The visuals were great, but the story wasn't.

I wanted this to follow the same style as the previous two films, and while it did in some aspects, I would rate it in third place of the trilogy. Still a fun ride though

The new Star Trek timeline seems to have gotten in a rut with this entry. They need to get back to the franchise roots and not try to make it into an action movie.

The first two movies of the updated Star Trek franchise were better but this is still an entertaining time and keeps it going for the next chapter. Recommended.

Good movie, but not great. Enjoyed the prior two movies better. Still receomed seeing to anyone who is a Star Trek fan and not a hater of the JJ Abrams rebboot.

This 3rd installment of the new Star Trek series only lacked one thing.. more action. Of the 3, this is the slowest. Decent storyline, just needed more action,

Visually movie looks impressive, story wise though it's average. If you're a fan of the series pick it up on sale, for those who are not I would say it's 50/50

Story is lacking. I bought this because the 4K transfer is supposed to be top notch. However, i didn't notice much improvement over the bluray version.

It was an ok movie, it was kind of hard to follow, too much going on, that one chick looked like a white avatar person, but other than that it was a ok movie,

Out of the 3 movies so far this is my least favorite. It just wasn't as interesting as the first two. I still recommend fans of the series to watch it though.

I enjoyed a lot of this film. The action was awesome. It had a great villain. Changes to some of the characters from the original series that I didn't like.

I love the rebooted Star Trek films, and this one is definitely up there. For true Star Trek fans, this films is likely going to be one of your favorites.

The great cast from the previous re- tooled series return. The special effects of course are great but the plot was not as engaging as its predicesors.

Star Trek beyond a good movie but the 4K version is only slightly better then the Blu-ray version only reason to pick it up if it’s on sale.
