I don't know, I like Star Trek, but in my opinion, this was the weakest movie of the new reboot. The main protagonist was another lousy looking humanoid and the robot-like army he commanded were never explained. The whole storyline was very weak--about how he got mad because he felt starfleet abondoned him, so he found immortality and kept his grudge. The Enterprise once again gets destroyed (but rebuilt at the end) in a matter of minutes. I honestly wasn't impressed.

Beyond doe not go boldly where no man has gone before. The previous two instalments of the Chris Pine led StarTrek movies were far superior to this one.

The sound and picture is fantastic. Better than the theater. The story line was a little too elementary for me however. Good for kids and teens.

The DVD format is good for the little guys. It can fire the imagination. This is the third installment in the reincarnated space exploration show.

This movie was only decent. The character interactions are good but the story is rather weak, as is the villain. The Blu ray looks gorgeous though.

I'm a fan of the old original star trek but have enjoyed these updated ones. I do think however that this one was the weakest of the new series.

It’s a solid movie. Not as good as into darkness but, it is the first one that didn’t contain elements of the original series

I felt they could have done a better story with a better villain. They had a blank slate and I think could have made better choices

I didn't love this movie as much as I did the Star Trek reboot film from 2009, but Beyond is definitely superior to the flawed Into Darkness.

It was a good day 2 watch the movie. Good luck with that in the future. I'm sure it will take a moment of silence and the rest is history.

Kind of disappointed for a Star Trek fan. Too corny with much of the crews action scenes. Way too far fetched! Still glad I purchased it!

Purchased this movie day one for a nice case of the movie. It was a good movie to watch because I have the 2 reboot movies that was made.

Slow story fought hard to stay awake with movie skeptic to invest in another star trek movie (maybe Im spoiled to the old cast of trek )

It's your standard Sci-Fi Action movie. Some of it reminds me of Ender's Game, but it has the usual humor and action of the franchise.

This was a solid movie but uninspiring, as Star Trek movies go. Felt more like the old TV series than the movies of late. I enjoyed it.

Visually stunning movie, although the plot line seems a bit shallow to carry a full length movie of this type. Still a must for fans.

Decent movie and slightly above average video quality. Good audio. Worth a buy on sale if you need to beef up your 4k library.

It actually deserves a 3.5. This movie, though not as good as its predecessors, is a fun addition to the franchise. Worth the watch.

The alternate timeline continues to thrill us with new adventures for the old crew. Not as good as the 2nd, but still a great movie.

Nothing too deep. Gene Roddenberry's touch is still missing. The new movies have been villain-centric, a mile wide and an inch deep.
