This is an OK chapter in the Star Trek series, and the cast is great, as usual, but the story...weak than other entries, and it relies too much on effects to tell the story. Not a bad film, but compared to the previous 2 with this cast, a notch below.

While I enjoyed the content of the movie, I was disappointed with the overall film. I purchased this movie to show off the details of my new 4k TV and my new 4k Blu-ray player. most of the film was so dark it was difficult to see any detail.

as these movies are becoming little more in content & visuals than video games, I'm less and less able to become absorbed in them. Actually, I didn't quite make it to the end of this one. It seemed to just arrive at a jumble of cartoon jibberish

I was bored during this movie. It was OK, but not a fun movie to watch. The only reason I got it was for a Christmas present and it was cheap on black friday. I would recommend just renting it. It's not one you will want to watch over and over.

The story line was OK, but I would rather see a story that ties back to the first JJAbrams movie. Maybe they could find a way to save Vulcan. A story line that is more intense would be appreciated here.

I rarely purchase movies before seeing them in the theatre. I regret not previewing this movie prior to purchasing it. I felt the director added more to the film than was necessary.

This movie made me feel as if they were holding something back, it was as if they would take you to the very moment of action and then pull back. This move lack StarTrek history. . .

I was unable to utilize the download version didn't work. I Tried several attempts, the code just didn't work. I attempted to contact support via the website, but got no response.

Movies today feel dry, after you've watched them they mostly crumble in your hands and blow away with the first bit of a breeze. Watch this once and you're done. Why buy it?

This isn't one of the better films in my opinion. There were some good moments but I found it a little dull throughout with only some sparse exciting moments.

Was expecting much more- felt like a prolonged episode of a star trek and not like a big budget film. Not bad, just not all that much to it

If this wouldn't have been on sale for Black Friday, I wouldn't have bothered purchasing. A huge disappointment and a terrible plot.

I have loved Star Trek since The Next Generation but fail to like ANY of these new movies. This one had potential but again garbage!

Although I didn't care for this movie after 1 viewing at our local theater, I knew I would have to purchase the blu-ray.

This 3rd installment was ok. It dealt with more personal issues with Kirk and Spock. I still enjoyed it as a fan.

Not my Type of Movie and purchase because was so low on Black Friday. at least they got a sale out of us I guess

Its hard to beat the original, and these are starting to get tiresome, hopefully this was the last one.

This is the third movie I think, and also the worst. Good to add to your collection, but just ok as a whole

A few good moments, it is not a great Star Trek movie. The previous movies in the this reboot are better.

The movie had some action but the story line wasn't great. The 4K HDR wasn't all that spectacular
