This was hands down the worst star trek movie ever made.

I’ve never been a fan of star freckles but I must say that I was hooked after watching them. Good picture quality Good Atmos track that immersses you in your seat

I believe that Star Trek beyond has great special effects. I know that the cast and crew miss the person who past away acting as Scotty. The actor who played Scotty should have the next Star Trek film production should be recognized. The ending of the next film should be memory of the actor who played Scotty before the credits. The character crooks are very not so smart when Captain Kirk kicks the crooks butt. I believe the 3D version and non three d versions are both excellent to watch if you own a blue ray 3 d tv and 3 d blue player. The format for four is also very great to watch on that format to watch. The price for blue ray steel book and blue ray should always be $19.99 instead of paying $25.00 when it not on sale.

Very underrated! This might be my favorite Star Trek movie! I have never been a fan of the original tv shows and movies, but these last 3 movies have been fantastic! (Maybe I should re-visit the originals.) The cast is super and loved the addition of Jaylah. Just fun and entertaining. The 3D is about on par with Into the Darkness. I wish they would have pushed for stronger 3D this time, but it was still great and added to the film. The scenes at Yorktown were particularly strong. I definitely recommend buying the 3D combo pack! I just wish the 3D had come in Steelbook! I hate to choose! This time I double dipped.

It was a great movie and way better then what i was expecting it to be. Very sad one of the cast has passed away but he will always be remembered.

Star Trek has changed considerably from what it was to what it is now. The rebooted series has been very fun and entertaining but the focus has most definitely been on the action element vs. the more thought provoking stories of the original series and subsequent series start with The Next Generation. That said, this entry feels the closest to the original series than the previous 2 have. The uniforms are more in line with what they are in the original series and the cast has settled into their roles nicely. Star Trek fans will probably spot a rather large continuity error with a previous TV show. Overall I would highly recommend this film as it is fun and also pays homage to the original series, being released in the 50th anniversary year of the franchise.

This was a superior 3rd installment to the Star Trek movie reboot!!!! Such a fun movie and a superior cast. I was truly hesitant to even see the first movie and was completely surprised and delighted to have so much fun with this new chapter in Star Trek history. This movie actually reminded me of the great old shows. There is an awesome new female, alien character that I just loved!!! So, YES, I can highly recommend this movie and also the first and the second.

I.M.O. this movie takes STAR TREK up another level - They really went all out to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of this cultural landmark - Sci-Fi movies are supposed to show you something that you haven't seen before and this one delivers in spades... There is a whole new maturity to the use of 3D in this movie - the designs of the environments really take full advantage of the added dimension... One to buy and watch often!

This latest Star trek film in the re-launch of the classic series is a great adventure and you see the characters grow and unite even more. A great special touch is how they pay homage to Lenard Nemoy (Original MR> SPOCK) and the entire original crew. this package included both the DVD and Bluray Discs. There is also a digital UV copy code so you can take a copy of it with you anywhere you go.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film, however, it's not nearly as good as the two previous J.J. Abrams films. The director, Justin Lin, is known for directing the Fast and Furious franchise of films and this is his first major film away from that franchise. It's very well done, but the writing is different and in my opinion, doesn't hold together or keep the viewer as engaged as the previous films. With that said though, if you enjoy the recent Star Trek films then you are likely to enjoy this.

I know this movie has received a lot of flak from classic trek fans, but I really enjoyed this one. I actually enjoyed it more than the second one (in to Darkness). It focused more on the crew trying to get out of a very bad position, relying on their skills and friendships than just on tech. I will say that it could have used a bit less action and more background story on the villain and Jayla, but overall it was a fun movie that felt very much like the original crew star trek.

This was a great movie to celebrate the franchises 50th Anniversary! Although the plot seemed similar to Into Darkness (villain wants to destroy huge population of citizens & heroes stop them in time) it was still an enjoyable movie. The cast is very likeable and have a lot of charm. And also a nice tribute to Leonard Nimoy in this movie as well!

This Star Trek film is something special. It is the closest the newest films have come to do the original films justice while also staying original. The current cast has great chemistry and the new characters in this film are great. The character of Jaylah definitely steals this film I hope to see her in future stories.

I loved the first Star Trek (2009), felt meh about Into Darkness, but this one may be the best one! I really enjoyed everything about this movie and had a great deal of fun watching it. While I had reservations with Justin Lin directing it was clear he is a huge fan of the property and did a terrific job!

Although the recent Star Trek series has been very good, this might just be the best so far. The movie was very enjoyable and the steelbook is a great bouns.

I saw this movie in theaters twice & have watched it on Blu-ray now at least 3 times. I wasn't a Star Trek fan until the new movies came out but they've really drawn me into the franchise. I'm excited to see what the future holds & hope they keep creating interesting plots for the crew to explore.

This is an all time must have for sci-fi movie collectors it has it all a great story , great picture quality , great special effects , great cast.

I really enjoyed the first two of the rebooted Star Trek movies. JJ Abrams managed to reboot the franchise and inject some humor and action. I was worried that the series would suffer when he left for Star Wars, but there was nothing to worry about. If you liked the first two rebooted movies, you'll like the latest installment.
