This movie is fun. The action scenes are intense and the entire galaxy envelopes you like a black hole. With a new director at the helm, the movie loses a bit of its continuity of the last two films when it regards the look of the film but more than makes up for that in the comedy and dramatic action it portrays.

This is another fine Star Trek movie. I must say, the first two installments have better plot and story. But seeing it in 4K UHD is an amazing experience on the big 75" screen. I still recommend it for all Star Trek fans.

I enjoyed the Star Trek trilogy. Had to get the last one. Visually it looks quite average and the sound stage for Dolby Atmos is almost non existent. Glad it caught this at $20. I wouldn't pay more than that for it. It's regular price is quite high for what it is. Good movie though.

I have fairly enjoyed the reboot of the Trek Universe. I am not overly hyped but they are good movies. If I were a Trekkie, I might be concerned about how they have warped from the cerebral plots and opted for the more action based plots (very Star Wars-y) but that is what the kids want.

This movie has so many scenes that are incredibly busy that HiDef is required to see the distinct features. Do not watch the special features first. Too many spoilers. Do watch the special features afterward. They answer a few questions you will have.

Star Trek did a great job appealing to a new generation of Star Trek fans considering I wasn't even a Star Trek fan until the most recent one came out, Star Trek (Chris Pine version) came out. This a must watch! Always great acting, story, and action!

Continuing the new Star Trek saga on the right path. I love all the actors in this movie packed with actions throughout the whole movie. Can't wait to watch the next chapter!!

Great movie. Beautiful picture. However has micro stutter issues in 4K. Tried on a Panasonic and Samsung 4K player. Not bad but the regular bluray doesn't have the stutter. It also doesn't look as good as the HDR though. Still recommend.

Fun Star Trek Movie. Good story & Great action and 3D effects.

A overall pleasing and enjoyable popcorn film which fits in well with the established Nu Trek mythos.. Great acting from the principal three characters with some decent action set pieces.. but a somewhat flimsy and over tired plot..

Got for my brother who has always loved Star Trek !

One of the best Star Trek movies. The special effects were fantastic. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. A great story with some great action.

Okay, the movies today are always over the top and extremely fast paced most are just eye candy. But despite the super effects and some large plot holes this movie is just plain entertaining!

title sums it up, it's good. not great, not terrible but good. Quality is good for a 4 k but, it's not great. If youre a startrek fan make sure you watch this one will be worth it.

I like how the movie ties in to Trek history in the prime universe, as well as real-life history with the passing of Leonard Nimoy.

Add this to your collection, I have a uhd blu-ray player, TV, and 4k movies too boot. Wish special features were on the 4k disc.

Saw this movie in the theater and after seeing it I knew I had to buy it when it was available for purchase. We loved the movie!

Ever watch a movie that leaves you wanting more? It is a huge set-up that introduces new characters, plot lines, ships, etc....

This movie is entertaining and a good edition to the recent Star Trek movies but it is not better than the previous two. Still would recommend to watch if your a fan of the series.

Great movie lots of action...interesting story line and great special effects! A great addition to the Star Trek franchise!
