Not up to the par of the first two but still a good movie overall

Great imagery and good story line. Good addition to the series!

Marginally acted. 4k picture quality varies from one scene to another. Would rate at the bottom of the most recent Stars Trek films. Either don't buy or buy the normal Blu-ray version. Not worth the higher 4k price.

Feels like the tv show best movie since the reboot

Do not buy the 4K version. Picture is washed out. The specs for the 4K version on the box say "HDR" - HDR it is NOT. Unfortunately it is beyond the return period for this purchase, so I can't take this back to get a refund. Have not yet viewed the included the 1080p Bluray version. Other 4K dics that I have purchased in the past play perfectly - not my player at fault. What a pile of washed out crud. Having the picture so poor in quality ruins the movie.

If you are a die hard fan, you may like it because you are loyal. If you like Star Trek because the last two films were really good movies, then you will be highly disappointed. This one is cheesy, terrible special effects, story is boring and predictable, looks like a movie from the WB. Don't waste your time or money on this one. It is nothing like the first two.
