Like the other newer star trek movies, this is not the same kind of movie as the original and wasn't meant to be.. this is an interesting sci fi series in its own right.

I like the new Star Trek movies, just not as good as the first in the series. I got it to complete my collection. Not a bad movie just not as good too me.

This was a gift. He was very pleased to be able to add it to his collection & was glad it was in the SteelBook. He saw Beyond in the movies & wanted to have his own copy.

Imagine that you reached the furthest of normal space an reached the one own space. How a like or dangerous is the unkown. The federation is at the edge of of it. What new adventure and danger the unkown will meet them!

It continued the star strek series very well and in fact it was on of the best in this series............................I look forward to the next movie in the series..........AN EXCELLENT SERIES with each movie a greaet buy.........

I enjoyed the movie for the most part. There are a few things that seemed unnecessary to it, and some things that leave the story open for future development.

Great buy at Best Buy and I love Star Trek. Gave it as a gift to my daughter. I originally bought it at Target but returned it because I received a better buy at Best Buy.

If you're even remotely a Star Trek fan, this is an excellent continuation of the Star Trek genre. Good balance of action and reflection as well as character development.

New series of movies continues to thrill. The ease in which the story line has continued does not drag the moviegoer down with details. Leaves you yearning for the next.

My least favorite of the "re-imagined" Star Trek series. The movie was excellent right up until the last 20 minutes or so. The final battle scenes were very "video game" in nature and really quite absurd. Otherwise it was entertaining.

I bought thia for my recent 4k display that I got from Bed But and the quality of it during play is super crisp and the action keeps you going till the end.

I had low expectations for this movie but was pleasantly suprised. The new cast does a good job stepping into the shoes of iconic characters. The tributes to old characters are classy. Good story, special effects and acting.

This one is most like the original show. While there is still more of a an action movie feel it definitely is closer to the original show than any of the reboots. Full disclosure I have liked the reboots and am more is a Star Wars fan.

As with all ST movies, this one was great! The price was also fair, and there were plenty in stock to choose from. Having all three, dvd, bluray and 3d is a bonus as well.

This was a enjoyable third outing for this new crew. The writing by Simon Pegg. The new director was not quite as good in my opinion but still pretty good. The only real complaint is the need to destroy the ship in every single movie.

I really enjoyed this movie. Star trek for me has always had great humanity related stories, its not always about the action, but also, about the human connection as well.

i saw the movie in theater and knew i had to own it. i am a star trek fan from way back and i own all the other star trek movies so this was an addition to my collection.

New Trek film with excellent crew character interactions. A good story with a surprise for all and a must for Trek fans, who will also love the USS Franklin ship design.

I saw the movie in the theater and then could not wait until it was available on BluRay. I am a movie nut and this movie in Dolby Atmos in my home theater is outstanding.

This is a great film for ages 13 and up. The cast is an excellent ensemble of great actors. This movie builds on the relationships and stays true to the Star Trek Legacy.
