You need this in your collection ! The new Star Trek crew is smarter and more adventurous that they old school Kirk and Spock ! Get some Slurpee refreshments and finish the movie !

My wife is a huge trekkie and I got this for her. She was erythromycin happy with the movie and how it stayed true to the spirit of star trek. Good plot, nice visuals and the action scenes were right in line with previous movies. I enjoyed watching it with the family.

All 3 of the new Star Trek movies have been good in my opinion. I think they nailed the characters. This movie I don't think is the best of the 3, but it is still quite good. I'm a big fan of the cast in these movies, really it's what makes all of them 5 stars for me.

Star Trek - always fun and space travel is always interesting. This is a great action movie with a good story about soldiers abandoned. You'd think after Khan they'd learn to not shuffle off top notch soldiers. Thank the movie gods they didn't because this is a fun movie. If you like Star Trek, Sci-Fi, or Action you will like this.

Star Trek Beyond was very well done, family-friendly, and perfect for any space nerd. DVD/Blu-ray combo pack is the best way to go! I also love having the digital copy so I can take the movie with me on vacation to help pass the time before reaching the destination.

I've enjoyed the reboot and have purchased all 3 movies. Many times sequels let you down but I think the Star Trek reboot films keep getting better! Best Buy has been very competitive on price lately, glad to be able to shop brick and mortar without paying a premium!

This Star Trek movie stood on its own merits without having to rely on cliches and micr-story lines that were obviously from previous movies. Star Trek Beyond was its own story more in-line with the original Star Trek series. I look forward to the next installment.

Not the greatest, but not the worst. I really think that this most recent installment in the Star Trek franchise works better as a stand-alone film. It is highly exgaging, and features a very nuanced performance by Idris Elba, but I feel like many of the storylines developed in the first two films are largely ignored, unfortunately.

The first movie of the reboot was the best one. The second was good. This was was between good and just... a movie. Plot was nothing extraordinary, and at this point we are all tired of the same of everything including blowing up the Enterprise... sorry for the spoiler, but is true. Come up with something new and good please.

It was very impressive how the writers embedded "easter eggs" for the fans without bogging down the story. I think that this is the end of the "easter egg" thing, as they have used enough of them in these last three films. Can't wait to see what's next! &:-} -]

If you enjoyed the previous newer Star Trek movies, this one will not disappoint you! I have always been a huge F/X person in movies, ever since seeing the first Star Wars movie at the theater. As the years have gone by, F/X just keeps getting better and better.

Seriously though, the disc worked as it should and i got it on sale for 50% off so yeah, all winning for me. Its one if rhe first movies ive seen on Blueray to offer full Atmos support which is kinda cool even if most folks dont yet have Atmos home systems.

The first two star trek films by JJ Abrams had a very bright and colorful style. Star Trek Beyond is much darker. The itself is very entertaining, but just seems to miss a little of that magic. The 1080 blu-ray offers excellent audio and video. Fans should definitely pick this up. Casual viewers will find a decent action movie.

I found this to be the best film in the rebooted Star Trek series yet. It strikes a great balance between action and story telling. It's also the first film in the series that really balances the ensemble cast and lets all of the characters shine. As far as summer blockbusters of 2016 go, this was one of the best films this year.

Fans of Star Trek will love this. Once again the team is in dire straights! The plot and the special effects are excellent. I really like this group of actors, but am saddened by the passing of Anton Yelchin who has a key role in this film. Highly recommended!

23, avid scifi fan from childhood and the 3rd installment of the rebooted Trek universe feels like what I grew up with. It had that action element but a very compelling story to go along with it. Would definitely check this out if you have not already done so.

I really enjoyed this movie. It started when it should instead of dragging it out. It was well paced and had plenty of action without 'over doing it'. Had the end you'd expect,........if you are like me, otherwise, see for yourself. I won't spoil it for you.

If you grew up on Star Trek you will find this movie entertaining and satisfying. Chris Pine as Kirk is a great fit. Young, impetuous, and brave. Spoiler alert: of course the good guys win!

Terrific movie, somewhat saddened knowing of the deaths of Anton Yelchin and Leonard Nimoy. There was fun, action, tongue-in-cheek humor all like the classic series. Kirk, Spock and McCoy are getting into the familiar banter. Like I said, they really got it.

I loved this movie. I was wary at first given that I was used to the JJ Abrams vision for the new Star Trek saga but I was not disappointed at all with the new director. Surprisingly he can make star trek just as well as he can make a fast and furious movie.
