Not really a big fan of this new Star Trek series of films... Not sure if it is the cast or the story lines themselves, but the special effects are surely over the top... Chris Pine as Kirk is all ego and not showing us the vey special talents of the man we all know and love.

I'm an avid long time Star Trek fan so will probably get whatever movies come out. Among the latest movies (Star Trek and others) seems the theme of being attacked by a swarm of smaller ships is getting common place. I would like to see some more originality. But otherwise, a good movie.

My husband is a big Star Trek fan and really enjoyed this movie.

I'm a long-standing Trekkie but feel the writing for this movie was a little thin. Several great actors, and of course, sadly Anton's last movie. JJ Abrams needs better writers in another movie is planned. Reasonably good action but need more depth like the first one with Chris Pine.
