This is the first of the nu-Trek to truly capture the spirit of the original series. It's fun, it's original, and it's got something to say - literally everything that the abysmal Star Trek Into Darkness wasn't.

Love this series and the direction of this new film. This felt like a high budget extended episode from the classic series. The cast continues to deliver. Great to see Bones get a bigger stage this time around.

The reboot franchise has done a good job of making characters you like, changing them just so that they're a little different however yet still the same. This movie was well done and plucks at the heart strings.

It's a Star Trek movie. Love the reboot that JJ Abrams has made to the franchise. This is action packed with great character development. Loved the reference to Leonard Nemoy. Must own for if you're a Trek fan.

Each iteration of this franchise offers a new beginning to endless possibilities, however, I would prefer deeper character development. Their is so much opportunity to explore the backgrounds of so many individuals, so why not take a chance? Overall, a fun movie for all!

Love the cast for the Star Trek Movies. Chris Pine makes a great Captain Kirk. However this movie was not as good as the second. Don't get me wrong it was good no let down in the action just didn't like the story as well as the second or first Star Trek with this cast.

Not a die hard startrek fan, nor have i seen oldschool episodes/movies. That being said, the effects are really amazing and not overwhelming, and its worth watching, still enjoyed the first one of this series alot more. This one is my secound favorite of the 3 so far.

If you are a Star Trek fan, this movie won't disappoint. I date back to the days of watching the original series on TV. The most recent movie brings back the fun and adventure from the 1960's series. Well done!

As a big fan of J.J. Abrams' rebooted Trek franchise, I was a little worried for the third one when it was announced he wasn't directing. While smaller in scope than the previous two movies, this one was still an enjoyable, worthwhile entry in the series.

This is an excellent blending of the heart and character of the original with the talented new. Real character development and story with all the visuals and action you would expect. My favorite of the reboot.

This movie is awesome. It completes my trilogy of the new generation of Star Trek. They have done good job of keeping fans interested in watching.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I ended up loving this movie. It was great to see the fun and action the originals had. Chris Pine owns Kirk and Karl Urban is spot on as Bones. A must have if you are a fan.

From the beginning the movie puts you in the driver's seat. The sound puts you and draws you into the movie . Great cast non stop action, The enterprise at its finest performance, worth the price I paid for.

This movie takes the new "Abramsverse" version of Trek back closer to its roots, and runs with the premise. There are still things that seem over the top (the size/style of the starbase, fast promotion of certain people, etc.), but overall, it was an enjoyable movie.

After having been a Star Trek fan my life, I find myself more excited with the new movies. Very action packed and keeps you entertained throughout the movie. Leaves for to question if there will be a fourth.

Wonderful movie. Enjoyed it in the theatre and couldn't wait for Blu-ray release. Lots of action and drama. Great scenes with all the characters. All the drama and humor Star Trek has to offer in one film.

If you like Classic Trek these are thought provoking What Ifs. If you are looking for a great Science Fiction experience without the corruption of Science Fantasy, then this is your movie.

Abrams left but have no fear. The franchise is still in good hands. All the things you love about the reboot films are still there. Sadly this was Yelchin's last role but it's worth a watch in his memory.

I think this was a fun and original Star Trek flick! The last movie suffered because it borrowed from several movies from the past. This one felt new and I'm looking forward to future films in this series.

This one is the best of the new series of Star Trek movies yet. It is totally new and not trying to rehash something from the old series. Being a fan of the original series, I liked it as an original idea.
