with leonard nimoy passing away last year, i anticipated what/how this movie would play out, if perhaps he had filmed some scenes already, would they give him a decent fairwell ... they went the typical route, which i suppose worked, yet it was a slight let down. but i don't think they wanted his death to overshadow the film, which i suppose made it ok. then, the recent death of anton yelchin (plays chekov) was a heartbreak. anyway, the story, the villain, the action, the slight dramatics were decent. the film wasn't blockbuster or anything to rave about, but any star trek fan would be pleased and satisfied.

we love star trek and this movie is one we will watch again. good value that it was available in dvd blu ray combo it gives us flexibility to watch in either player

I love star trek and I love these movies this one is good but still neither sequel has been as good as the first one but I still give it 5 stars as a star trek fan!

I like getting movies at Best Buy, they always have a good supply of movies in stock, usually the new movies are in the front of the store so I can get in and out.

Decent addition to the Trek through the stars franchise. The characters who I found irritating in the earlier prequels have grown on me and the story line is at least somewhat refreshing. Good trekkie entertainment.

This is better than the last one. Not sure where they will head to after this one. But again I think they have finally set it up to continue as the original cast.

The best thing about the recent Star Trek re-boot starring Chris Pine is the actors simply nail the characters - mannerisms, dialogue, and attitudes. Give us more!

I was weary of this movie due to the director change. Despite the change the continuity made sense and the feel was consistent. I thurroughly enjoyed the movie.

Different director this time and they did not dissapoint. Great storyline and the cast as always made this a perfect reboot series. I can't wait for the next one.

This current series of the Star Trek franchise is very well done. It updates the show and the characters just enough to create a new experience while being able to still relate back to previous movies and TV shows.

I love the characters in the film. I'm a hug fan of this franchise. I will not sell or trade it in for anything else.

I love getting blueray dvds here, if you keep checking 99.9 percent of the time they always have great sales. Got this one to add to my star wars collection

Best movie of the Star Trek series too me !!! I like that some new characters have been introduced in this movie, vs. the old ones. Helps keep the message alive.

The Star Trek re-boot in 2009 just keeps getting better! After watching this 3rd sequel, we decided we lIke Star Trek better than Star Wars.

Always been a trekkie and always will be so that makes me a little biased towards this movie.but it really is a great movie.best of the 3 new ones in my opinion.

Effects? check. Good plot? Check. Humor? Check.. Action? Check. There really isn't a reason not to see this movie - it's a sci-fi franchise even my wife enjoys.

This movie is a fantastic sequel to the previous two movies. The cast for the movie are excellent in their roles. The story is well written and is action packed.
