If they keep adding to the series every 3-4 years, I will certainly keep adding them to my collection. The 2009 'Star Trek' is still my favorite; 'Into Darkness' was also good but not as memorable. 'Beyond' has a new director and writers; not as strong as the others. But once a 'trekker' always a 'trekker'.

Very little to say that isn't good about this movie or the series. They keep it interesting and you can walk into this movie a Star Trek fan or not and enjoy it. Justin Lin did a great job making it a superior action movie based on an classic. Make sure you get the Blu-Ray or 4k editions for maximum effect.

Too much on destruction of the Enterprize scenes. And they were very hard to view because of so much confusion. These people need to get a better sound recorder! It is almost impossible to understand the audio. Once on the ground the movie comes together better. (Except for the audio.)

The story id relatively simple, but i gave it 4 starts rather than 5 because it has a level of non plausibility at the end when the mystery is revealed. part of my love of the trek francihse is believability. the end of this left me thinking "um- no i dont think so". But the action and character delevlopement including new characters was true to form. Action scenes were quite good.

I watch this movie on the big screen and it was amazing! I decided to go to Best Buy to purchase this movie on Black Friday and I have to tell you this movie was great for the price and the staff at Best Buy was so friendly. I highly recommend this movie and recommend Best Buy for purchases in the future.

Being a huge fan of almost everything Star Trek, this latest rendition of cinema movies has been right on par With The Star Trek universe. The characters are blending nicely their stories are coming together they're developing characters and characteristics that we saw in the TV series in early movies and blending it very nicely into a youthful package.

The film: I was concerned (after seeing the first trailer) that Star Trek was trying to be 'fast and furious'. I was pleased to discover that there was still plenty of fun Star Trek lore buried in this film. The bluray/dvd/digital copy: No problems. Everything looks and sounds great.

I think I may have enjoyed this entry into the new Star Trek movies a little more than the last outing. It was a little bit more lighthearted than the previous installments. We got more Scotty than the others and I quite enjoyed that, being a big fan of Simon Pegg. If you like the previous two entries, you'll most likely enjoy this one. The blu-ray quality is very good.

I really enjoyed this Star Trek movie. I've never really payed much attention to the Star Trek world until the new movies. This was a fun and exciting movie. Since I don't have a long history in the franchise, I just go off what I've seen. It's a good movie with some iconic characters. Worth a watch.

I was very excited when I saw the previews for this movie. I really like the reboot on the franchise. Chris Pine and the rest of the actors are great in their roles. I love Karl Urban as Dr. McCoy. I didn't see it in the theaters so I bought the blu-ray. Not bad...think I should have rented it at first. But I also like all the extras you get on the blu-ray. So there is that.

Lots of action, interesting story, good pairing off of main characters for interesting interactions, lots of action. Love the JJ Abrams' reboots (all infinitely better than the previous ST movies - except First Contact, which is still epic). I'd probably rank this 2nd among the reboots (with Into Darkness still holding the top spot among the three with Chris Pine as Kirk).

While Star Trek Into Darkness was a good movie, there was something I didn't like about it. Regardless, Star Trek Beyond more than makes up for what the second filmed lacked. If this turns out to be the last in a trilogy, I think Star Trek Beyond is a great film to cap it off with. It might be the best of the three films. My movie arrived in great condition and on time.

All in all a good movie. With a different director at the helm it feels a little different than the previous two movies but that works in its favor here. Definitely feels the most like a true Star Trek story this time around. Why do I only give it four stars? That is because of the use of Beastie Boys music as a plot device. Nearly ruined the movie for me on that alone.

Awesome movie, really enjoy what they have done with bringing Star Trek back and making it more popular with the younger crowd. I still probably like the first two movies better, but this is a good journey none the less.

I love the new Star Trek franchise. This movie did not disappoint. Great special effects on what would be a "normal" episode of Star Trek. All of the lead characters are perfect in their roles, especially Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto. I do not know who would have made a better Kirk and Spock.

Loved Star Trek since the start. Star Trek Beyond continues Kirk, Spock and McCoys new adventures. Aside from Kirk feeling he's too old for this continuing adventure (to old at what 28), aside from that bit of silly dialog, this was a fun, exciting, entertaining movie. Blu-ray looks and sound incredible. Don't run out and get it, beam immediately to Best Buy and get it!

This third movie is another hit for the 'Star Trek' reboot! The writing stays true to the franchise's legacy and this wonderful cast is only rivaled by the originals. Add modern special effects and action sequences and we have something really fun and special here. Can't wait for the next one!

This movie got some mixed reviews but I enjoyed the throwback feel to the original series. It had the elements that I enjoyed from the past shows and movies, with the high energy that comes from one of the helms of the Fast and Furious movies. It was just a lot of fun to watch. The blu-ray content is great and added a lot of insight to the story and production.

We're Star Trek fans, but somehow we missed this in the theaters! The action is great, and the new generation of cast continues to do a good job with their characters. The new characters for this movie are good, but it's sad knowing that Anton Yelchin (Checkov) won't be in any more movies!

I have always been a Trekkie fan from the original Captain Kirk to Captain Archer and I love all of them including the movies. But out of all them I feel ST Beyond is up on my list. It was so well made and I love the story line. I've watched it over and over again and it never gets boring.
