It seems that 3D movies are getting a little scarce, so when I saw Star Trek Beyond in 3D, I snapped it right up. As I was watching it, the 3D effects were so good and so smooth you almost didn't notice them - they became an integral part of the movie. Now that's really good in my opinion!

I have always been a Trekkie fan from the original Captain Kirk to Captain Archer and I love all of them including the movies. But out of all them I feel ST Beyond is up on my list. It was so well made and I love the story line. I've watched it over and over again and it never gets boring.

This is up there with the Guardian of the Galaxy steelbook for my favorite packaging. Thanks in large part to the artwork that is a definite nod to Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Beyond was possibly my favorite of the new Star Treks so I'd definitely recommend it for any fan of the movies.

I was very excited when I saw the previews for this movie. I really like the reboot on the franchise. Chris Pine and the rest of the actors are great in their roles. I love Karl Urban as Dr. McCoy. I didn't see it in the theaters so I bought the blu-ray. Not bad...think I should have rented it at first. But I also like all the extras you get on the blu-ray. So there is that.

I love the "reboot" Star Trek series of films that feature the characters I know and love. It is fascinating to see them fresh out of the academy. The actors who portray the shows main characters have the mannerisms, etc down to an art. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and recommend it.

I love all of the Star Trek movies, great actors, wonderful CG, nice stories. Particularly this one , it has the emotion elements of the real person shown in the movie. Good to own.

I'm a huge StarTrek fan. I've heard critiques slam this movie. I believe it is very good that this is in league with the original Movie series where the Enterprise was lost. They made it plausible.

with uhd being a new format, i always look forwards to movies like this to see what my tv can do. It was the same when dvd and bluray came out. Fans of the movie wont be disappointed and i am glad they are continuing to supply the bluray as well, i hope that trend continues in the future

Enjoyed this movie quite a bit, it was definitely better then the previous movie. In terms of overall quality content it lies slightly higher then the second movie but still can't topple the first. The UHD movie really brings out the darkness and colors that this movie presents.

I've really enjoyed all of the Star Trek reboot movies recently, and this is no exception. Fun movie, and looks great in 4K. I recommend going with 4K even if you don't have a compatible system, as this set includes the BluRay, and when you upgrade, you'll have something ready to watch!

This is the third film with the newest cast of the Star Trek Movie Series and we now have all three. We've watched all of them multiple times and like them more each time we watch. There's a lot of action and humor and the plots are complicated and fun. We can't wait for more!

Lots of action, interesting story, good pairing off of main characters for interesting interactions, lots of action. Love the JJ Abrams' reboots (all infinitely better than the previous ST movies - except First Contact, which is still epic). I'd probably rank this 2nd among the reboots (with Into Darkness still holding the top spot among the three with Chris Pine as Kirk).

I enjoyed the updating of the characters and the choices for the new actors playing the Star Trek roles. The movies to me are much more exciting than the older fims, the fx give more believabilty to the different worlds and spacecrafts. If you like sci fi you’ll like this

If I were ranking Star Trek movies, this is NOT the absolute best one, however...if you are a Star Trek fan, then you will certainly enjoy it and watch it several more times in the future, just as you do all the other Star Trek movies you own. Make it part of your collection and enjoy!

Star Trek:Beyond is the latest reboot of the series and probably the most entertaining with a story line not a retread from the TV show or film series. A diverse audience can follow along and be entertained as well the die hard fans, Trekkers. Definite a logical choice film to watch!

The plot seems very similar to the first and second movie. But I still enjoyed this addition overall because it was still entertaining to watch. I liked how they added more comedy to the story and characters. However the climatic sequence was a bit eh? It's something that you would understand after watching I think. But I still liked it, just not as much as the first two.

I am a big fan of star trek Ive seen the originals and gave the new trilogy by JJ Abrams a chance and really liked it. Out of the 3 this is by far my favorite. Their is non stop action, humor and the plot really brings everything together. Definitely recommend for you star trek fans.

While Star Trek Into Darkness was a good movie, there was something I didn't like about it. Regardless, Star Trek Beyond more than makes up for what the second filmed lacked. If this turns out to be the last in a trilogy, I think Star Trek Beyond is a great film to cap it off with. It might be the best of the three films. My movie arrived in great condition and on time.

The overall movie is better than the previous two installments. Those that watched the show originally in the 60-70's (not just TOS) may be trying to get used to some of the changes in character traits. Some good, some odd. The interactions between Spock & McCoy are the highlight of the film.

Yes, I am a long time Star Trek fan . This is very good entertainment for those whom love a outer space action movie, with the new younger cast that makes up the crew of the Enterprise. I recommend this movie highly, you will watch more then just once, and tell your friends about it.
