Watched the first one on a steaming service. Looked so good I knew I wanted to get this one in a 4K blue ray. Too bad to they don’t make a 3rd one.

The PS4 that was advertised and that I thought I had purchased is not the system I received. I purchased it on line The Saturday after Black Friday and it advertised three games with it. The system that was sent only had one game. I'm still happy about the price but not about the fact I'm missing two games

PLENTY OF GOOD ACTION, ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT ALL ALONG THE WAY, NEVER FELL ASLEEP ONCE, LIKE I USUALLY DO, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE. ACTION FROM BEGINNING TO END

This review is for the Blu-ray disc and its packaging (which is what is asked for on this page) and not for whether or not this movie was as good as the previous ones. The discs worked as expected in my 4K pass through BD Player.

I bought the Blu Ray dvd which contains a lot of bonus extras like the other Star Trek DVDS. When you watch these, you realize how much work and effort it takes to create these action packed and exciting movies for our enjoyment.

I think this package hit it just right. It included what you would expect as far as the number of discs is concerned. The extras with this version were very nice in-depth looks at the movie. Great picture quality. No complaints.

I liked the first new movie in this series the best, but found this one to be a good third movie with these new actors. As I have been watching Star Trek since the 60's I have enjoyed all the movies, we'll except the first movie after the original series. I would like to see them do one new movie a year.

I waited for this movie to come out on BluRay and I was not disappointed. Grew up watching Star Trek as a kid in the 60's. Glad to see they continue to produce movies based on the original characters. Rest In Peace Leonard Nimoy.

The revamps to this classic have done it again. Loved the new characters and I'm constantly impressed with the visuals and new story they've chosen for the Starship Enterprise and her crew. Must have whether you're a fan or not.

I enjoyed this movie but didn't like it as much as the others. I thought this one was too dark (as in lighting). It seemed to be that they were always either in a cave, building, or recked ship where it was dark or very low lighting. The story and acting were good. I would still recommend seeing it.....

Purchased this movie during black Friday sale and was the best price even beating out Wal-Mart. Best Buy is the best in prices during Christmas and throughout the entire year. I have been purchasing more and more from Best Buy.

I was @ 50/50 when I first saw this in the theater. After being blown away by the "Into Darkness" movie. (That is also available in 3D.) Then I saw it again through Redbox and liked it even more and then got the 3D version which is, of course, a PHENOMENAL way to watch this type of action adventure!!

I have two different disc players in the house - a regular DVD and a Blue Ray. These combo packs are great because they contain both formats. Next year I'll be getting a laptop and I can start using the digital as well. Movie is also excellent - I'm a Trekkie from the time of TOS through to present.

I have always been a Star Trek fan and an action fan as well. This movie rates on top of my list as one the best movies I've seen of this year of 2016. Truly well made with great special effects that even please a Star Wars fan

Excellent new installment to the new Star Trek! Been a (almost) lifelong fan for 35 years- and this one continues the rebooted saga with a great story that is reminiscent of an episode of the great original 5 year mission.

This is a very good action film. I recently purchased a new set of speakers for my home theater and this movie shows them of. Typical star trek film If you like the star trek movies you will like this one. Some great caracters

Star Trek Beyond has a lot to offer the Star Trek fan: a new and unique plot, interesting one on one character interactions, and a nod to the old while advancing the new versions of the characters along the rebooted time line.

Film number 3 in the franchise reboot, it delves a bit more into character development. Still a lot of action sequences, but it is Star Trek revisited. Strong performances from most of the cast, and some very special effects.

Very much enjoyed the movie. Lots of action and the returning characters blend well together including the newcomer Sophia Boutella who many may know from Kingsman as the girl with the blade legs, she is also starring in the new Mummy reboot. Worth a watch if you are looking for an entertaining movie!

The actual quality of the bluray is as to be expected. I do think it's a good one to upgrade to the 4K version if you have the hardware. As far as the story, it's fine but as I stated in the title, it's not as good as the the first two but I doubt that's going to stop a Star Trek fan from getting it.
