I bought the disc because I liked the movie when I saw it in the theater. I bought the Blu-Ray package because I have a Blu-Ray player. If you like the "latest generation" of Star Trek movies, you'll want this disc package.

This film was great from beginning to end...I loved how it paid tribute to the original series which inspired it...all three films in the rebooted series have been awesome and highly entertaining this one is no exception...

After the first two new movies spending far too much in and around Earth, it was nice to see the story expand to uncharted territory. While it may not reach the heights of some of its predecessors, it is obvious the actors had a lot of fun making this movie and makes for an entertaining adventure.

The picture and sound quality is absolutely breathtaking! Bluray is pretty sweet, but switching input sources for a side by side comparison on my tv, it's night and day! 4K is mind blowing! Well worth the extra few bucks!

This is one of the more interesting of the Star Trek series. The use of 3D seems to be well planned and natural. Its action packed from beginning to end and just keeps you guessing as well. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this movie to all Sci-Fi fans.

This is the third movie in the reboot of the Star Trek movies. This one delivers action, humor and everything that makes Star Trek great. This is a great way to celebrate Star Trek's 50th year! Highly recommend this movie!

Kirk and crew must stop the latest threat to federation which originated from before it's founding. This movie was an improvement over the 2nd one. Lot of nice visual fx.

This movie was great, especially for a Trekkie. You don't need to know much of a background or watch the other two to necessarily be caught up in this one. It would be a bonus. I wish I had purchased the 4k instead of the Blu-Ray, but it is still well done, and I love the high quality resolution.

If you can watch this movie in 3D. 3D is better most of the time and it is true with this movie. The movie is very good on its own merits and 3D just makes it better. Star Trek fans and non fans both will love this movie.

Loved the movie and wanted the 3D version. 3D is incredible. Very immersive and colors are true. Sound is excellent and brings you more into the movie. Highly recommend if you love 3D and are a Star Trek fan.

We thoroughly enjoyed seeing this movie at the theater and thus could not wait for it to be available in the store. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. The steel book case is an extra nice touch for a gift.

Great movie, this entire series has been a gem. And this is coming from someone who never watched Star Trek. So maybe my opinions aren't skewed because I have nothing to compare it to. I don't know how it stands against the originals, but as its own its a great movie, and great trilogy thus far.

This movie is the best in the 3 of this reboot. Its fast paced, its set in other planets vs the first 2 that focused so much on earth it seemed repetitive, this one goes above an beyond. Highly recommended.

Great entertaining movie in the Star Trek catalog. I never try to dissect these types of movie. They are what they are and as shown in many documentaries the series has put many people on a path in the aerospace industry.

This movie is very well made with excellent sound quality and pictures. The story is very exciting and the characters are very well portrayed. I will be watching this movie many times and enjoying it's great sound quality

Again another good movie to add to the star trek adventure. The main crew are on the long maiden voyage, and they have to discover themselves. The action is great, the quick quip comments are funny. Overall a great movie.

This was a great movie. It kept in line with the Star Trek journeys. It kept your attention through the whole movie. A lot of action and suspense. Have been a trekie for years and this is just as good as the other movies.

I wasn't sure that this sequel would be that good with Justin Lin at the helm and not JJ. But I was surprised and really enjoyed it at the theater. Picked up the Bluray during Black Friday when it was on sale for few $$.

Continuation of the story line with the younger Capt Kirk. Disappointing that William Shatner, although 85 now but still active, does not make an appearance...as one of the last surviving television version cast members.

While the action was great, I found the story to be a little convoluted. Re-watching the movie again definitely helps to fill in the gaps previously missed. Overall, I enjoyed the story, especially the interactions between various crew members that was missing from "Into Darkness". Recommended!
