This film bleeds Trek. Hidden and in your face winks at the past. The film almost feels like a long episode. It's nice to see the tributes and honor this movie both cast and story gives to the originals before it.

Some may think that it's just another Star Trec movie, but it's still a really good film. It's nice to see that they are still able to come up with such original plots. It's also pretty mild in language or violence. You don't have to worry about watching this with kids.

JJ Abrams and the entire cast and crew are back at it with this new installment of Star Trek. The characters continue to develop on-screen and the plot advancements, twists, and turns are endlessly entertaining.

Star Trek continues in the 'NEW' tradition, with the re-imagined crew of the Enterprise coming into their own as characters. Hope there's many adventures ahead. Reference quality sound and video on this Blu-ray.

After the overblown and over cooked into darkness, star trek heads back to its roots. Very good chemistry and interaction with the crew. Beyond had a solid villan and really nice action sequences. The humor worked and felt natural. This was a pleasant surprise. Blue ray was top notch!

Again another star trek movie that delivers. Very well written and acted. I hate the fact that Anton Yelchin passed away and this is h8s last star trek. Such a great young actor that never fully reached his peak.

With big bowls of popcorn ready, the family enjoyed watching this movie from beginning to end. There hasn't been a bad Star Trek movie with Chris Pine yet. Lots of funny scenes. Two thumbs way up from each of us.

The movie lived up to expirations. Very exciting and fast paced. Color and sound was excellent. A good family film for older children. Cannot wait for the next installment in the series. Again highly recommended.

Scotty was in this movie a lot more than the other movies. Must be a coincidence as Sim Pegg, who plays Scotty, also wrote the screenplay. Anyway it's a great movie with a lot of heart, and I highly recommend it.

This was an excellent movie. I have seen all three and this one was as good as the others. The storyline was good, the characters were good, and the effects were good. I really liked the easter eggs in the movie.

This movie got a lot of criticism from before it was even released. After watching it though, I honestly enjoyed it. The bonus content was also great to watch, especially the gag reels and tributes to Leonard Nimoy and Anton Yelchin. Give it a chance if you haven't seen it already.

This is probably the best Star Trek movie in the trilogy. It's a vast improvement over the second film. I hope this isn't the final film, but if it is, it would be a satisfying conclusion.

I understand that they felt they had to pay tribute to Leonard Nimoy with this movie but I respectfullly think they made that too big of a focus over the plot. That said, the white faced female alien was badass.

I grew up watching Star Trek with my grandparents and was kind of skeptical when I bought this but I ended up REALLY liking it, I don't love it, but give it another ten years and maybe the same nostalgia that gives Captian Picard a 5/5 will give this 21st century prequel 5/5 as well.

This is the first of the nu-Trek to truly capture the spirit of the original series. It's fun, it's original, and it's got something to say - literally everything that the abysmal Star Trek Into Darkness wasn't.

Love this series and the direction of this new film. This felt like a high budget extended episode from the classic series. The cast continues to deliver. Great to see Bones get a bigger stage this time around.

I am a big fan of Star Trek. I collect memorabilia & watch movies as well as the original show. In my opinion this movie was a great roller coaster ride while staying true to the Star Trek "formula". Great Fun!!

The reboot franchise has done a good job of making characters you like, changing them just so that they're a little different however yet still the same. This movie was well done and plucks at the heart strings.

Nice, faithful to the mythology movie. Pay attention to one statement towards the beginning of the movie, this is apparently after the first three years of the five year mission in the new timeline. Good story.

It's a Star Trek movie. Love the reboot that JJ Abrams has made to the franchise. This is action packed with great character development. Loved the reference to Leonard Nemoy. Must own for if you're a Trek fan.
