The first movie opens and this one closes with the Beastie Boys, but you will have to watch it to find out how. Essentially, a guy is angry with the Federation and wants revenge. He destroys the Enterprises and then attacks a star base. Mayhem ensues and then queue the Beastie Boys.

This one has some super fantastic special effects, and when viewed in the 4K player with the 4K cables the picture quality is unreal! I watched some parts a second time right away. Don't miss out on this one.

Yes, I'm a Trekkie at heart, and this movie has all the makings of a great adventure- unpredictable edge of your seat excitement, poignant, and bittersweet at times. Can't wait to see where they land next time!

I purchased the Steel book as Best Buy was running a promotion making it the same price as a regular Blu-ray. You can't beat the deals the company offers on quality products! It's a fantastic movie, by the way!

If you are a Star Trek fan, this movie won't disappoint. I date back to the days of watching the original series on TV. The most recent movie brings back the fun and adventure from the 1960's series. Well done!

If you enjoyed Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness you should enjoy this movie as well. Lots of action and very good character interaction. My only issue with the product itself is I couldn't get the code for the digital copy to work, and emails to customer support go unanswered.

This is an excellent blending of the heart and character of the original with the talented new. Real character development and story with all the visuals and action you would expect. My favorite of the reboot.

An action packed J.J . Abrams third entry , Star Trek fans will not be disappointed in the latest crew of the Enterprise's off world adventures. Sadly it is the last time we will see Anton Yelchin as Chekov .

With the change in director from JJ Abrams to Justin Lin, I was worried about a change in storytelling but my worries were quickly eased by the first quarter of the film. This was a very good movie with a cast that had found its rhythm as had become a family both on and off screen

This movie is fantastic. The action is fast paced and well choreographed and the actors are all as good as they've ever been. There's humor throughout and it's definitely a sign that the series is here to stay.

This movie is awesome. It completes my trilogy of the new generation of Star Trek. They have done good job of keeping fans interested in watching.

This movie is just a ton of fun to watch! Great story and cast with a firm footing in the Trek universe. Perfect blu-ray transfer and great 3D effects just as it was in the IMAX theater I first saw it at.

The movie took off where it left off, the characters are the same, which is great.... no spoilers here, just the plot was a little predictable and like- WHAT? but I like Star Trek so I didn't mind, you can kind of miss it anyway.. so enjoy this, grab snacks and laugh a little....

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I ended up loving this movie. It was great to see the fun and action the originals had. Chris Pine owns Kirk and Karl Urban is spot on as Bones. A must have if you are a fan.

From the beginning the movie puts you in the driver's seat. The sound puts you and draws you into the movie . Great cast non stop action, The enterprise at its finest performance, worth the price I paid for.

Finally got a Blu Ray player and the effects in this movie are awesome! This franchise is always focused on making sure you get a bang for your buck! Well worth the money especially since I got it on sale.

I love the movie in that it develops the character relationships I was so found of from TOS. I could have done without the Fast and Furious effects. The story seemed weak, but once a Trekkie always a Trekkie!

This is an excellent latest installment to the Star Trek franchise. The inclusion of Mr Spock's death in the movie made it very current and relevant. The special effects are spectacular. 3-D is also amazing.

I very much liked the movie in the theater and wanted a good copy for home. Best Buy is where I will purchase my movies as long as they sell them in the store. The stor is very good and the people excellent.
