While the old crew is back, they are clearly not the same as we remember from the original series. J.J. Abrams has refreshed the The Star Trek universe and just when we think we now what's in store for our beloved characters, Abrams delivers an original plot twist. Great action and special effects kept me entertained to the end.

4K not only increases the saturation and quality of the video signal, but makes the audio phenominal. If you've spent the money on a 4k system and have decent audio equipment the 4K version is a must.

A lot of people think that the new Star Trek universe is lame and not creative. Well these people are wrong. It links the first episode and the rest of the original series very well. Also Kahn in this universe is more believable

I know a lot of die-hard Star Trek fans don't like the new movies, but they are great because people who loved the old movies and series can watch them with people who have never seen Star Trek. Plus, they are just good movies!

I thought the original Trek 2 with Nimoy/Khan was the best and I think this so far is the best in the new series..I believe this sent Cumberbachs carer on a whirl..........gotta have this one...........

Star Trek and 3D and ofc blasting the surround sound; IMAX experience in my bedroom. Best Buy price matched this with another competitor , again why I LOVE BEST BUY !! Overall, great blu ray to add to you 3D Home Theater Exp !

What another action-packed star trek movie! Just as good as the first reboot. I'm glad i hit it on blu ray to add to my collection.

I saw the movie twice and was very excited to purchase my copy for my collection. I am a Trekie and was very happy with my purchase. I recommended this to my sister who did not see the movie and she was excited after seeing it.

I really loved the movie, excellent way to revamp the series and not just be a reboot of things. It's like a different multiverse theory that works out very well. This is a good example of it in action.

The recreation of the Star Trek universe for a new generation continues its solid journey with this entry. The entire crew from the first Star Trek return for another great adventure. One of the best movies to own on blu-ray!

Great sequel and great movie. Re-watched Wrath of Khan after this, and I didn't realize how much more slowly paced it was compared to the newer movies. Blu Ray was good quality, and the extras were nice. Good price too.

This was a good follow-up to the previous Star Trek movie. I never watched the older movies or TV shows, but J.J. Abrams has caught my attention. This is a movie you need to see on a big screen and Blu-ray. It is worth buying!

This movie does the original Star Trek justice. It pays homage to beloved characters but also brings something fresh and exciting to the screen. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will revisit it once in awhile to watch again.

Spectacular addition to the Star Trek canon, & the best movie so far in the new series of movies. Everything you could love about the original characters, & an excellent attempt of blending the old story with the new series!

In some ways, I had more fun that the previous Star Trek movie back from 09. The action scenes were spectacular and visually great. Not to spoil, but great plot twist here. The 3D just makes the movie even more fun to watch.

I'm not a movie reviewer, so I won't break down the plot and rate the acting performances. However, this is an engaging story with good cinematography. Nice to own when it's purchased on sale, but I wouldn't buy it for $20.

The Star Trek journey continues. I'm glad that the series lives on. The plot, a story of courage, doubt, etc embodies some of the underlying qualities of what Star Trek represents. The actors, although younger than in most Start Trek movies, does an excellent job on the storyline. This is a definite see for Star Trek fans.

This move takes it up another notch. Much fun to watch. This move picks up where the first one left off. I especially liked the Blu-ray and DVD combo pack because we do not have a Blu-ray player yet but hope to get one soon.

If you liked the reboot of the franchise, you'll enjoy this movie. The action is intense, and the banter is spot on. If you have an LG OLED 3D capable TV, get the 3D version, for sure. It looks amazing!

I was always a Star Wars fan over Star Trek......until the first Star Trek movie with these actors. This second installment of the series does not disappoint. Good storyline, good acting, good action. Tons of fun to watch.
