I can't say what this film doesn't do because it does everything.. Sound.. visual.. story... characters (the villain is amazing) humor... this film has it all..

My family and I loved this movie. Loved the plot. I did not quite get the love interest of Spock,but it was interesting. It made me want to re watch the other star trek movies again.

I'm not a huge Star Trek nerd but there is just enough for Trekies to pick apart and the normal audience to enjoy not knowing the inner reasons why the reveal was stupid! Its entertaining at sub $20 and beautiful in 4k. No regrets

having very little interest in star trek, it took me a great deal to go see the new reboot. but I enjoyed it. so much I saw this sequel. even better. so good I bought it.

This is a great sequel to the first one. The plot is great. Chris Pine does even better reprising his role as Captain Kirk. Move over, Shatner, there's a new Captain on the bridge.

Another well acted and well-written movie for the Star Trek installation, very much enjoyed it as much as the first one.

Over all the story line works, if you are a true Star trek fan, then you will be familiar with Kahn. I like the way he was portraited and the future possibility for his character

This is the early stages of Khan from Star Trek 2. It was a good movie and how Khan developed and grew into this mad figure.

Even though this is different from the original, I enjoy both stories and how they unfold. This was a great movie to watch. Bought it for a friend of mine.

Seen this movie on regular DVD and liked the movie then, so I wanted to see how much better it was in 4k. In 4k the image is so much more clearer.

I think this is the best movie the the 3 new Star Trek movies. Great character development. Benedict Cumberbatch plays a convincing multidimensional villian!

I always loved Star Wars and was always a little disappointed with previous Star Trek films and the newest feature by J.J. Abrams does not disappoint at all. It is amazing!

If you haven't seen Star Trek Into Darkness yet definitely give it a viewing. It's a solid movie and if you liked the first new Star Trek movie you should like this one as well. Overall, I feel like it is a good addition to a movie watcher's collection.

Though it can never beat the original Star Trek crew film movies the Kelvin Timeline films can stand on their own without being official canon to the Star Trek universe. But unlike the Star Trek we all know from the original crew and later TV series this take on Trek is dumbed down from the scientific jargon you make be expecting to hear to just put people in the theater seats to watch. All in all it is a great action film and so so plot.

Once again, a great job in following the original series and later movies story lines. The introduction of Khan in a whole new light. Special effects and action are incredible.

A wonderful follow up to the spin off of the original Star Trek series. I'd recommend it for any sic-fy fan looking for something adventurous and high quality to watch.

A great 4K Star Trek film. The clarity is outstanding and when paired with my Samsung 4K player and my Phillips 4K TV gives an outstanding viewing experience.
