    I don't normally go for summer blockbusters but this is a good movie. The cast is great at their respective new roles. The special effects look awesome in LED and the sound is kickin.

    The story line is pretty good with lots of action. The 4k transfer is very good, and the Dolby Atmos sound track is really fun. A reference quality 4k blueray!

    Still not stale after 3 years. Tries hard to resurrect the characters of the original TV series. Succeeds with Spock, maybe with Kirk. Villain adequately villainous.
