Star Trek into Darkness is essentially a "remix" of the original Star Trek movies. I won't get into specifics as to avoid spoilers. The movie is entertaining enough, though I still dislike messing with Star Trek cannon as the new series does.

There's no denying that 'Star Trek Into Darkness' is at times entertaining and action-packed. The movie's biggest faults lie in the fact that it doesn't feel very much like a 'Star Trek' film

This is one of the better presentations available on UHD blu-ray with High Dynamic Range. However, it falls short of the best examples (such as The Revenant and Planet Earth 2).

It should be a gorgeous UHD presentation but it is not compatible with my Xbox One S. I bought it and it wouldn't play on my Xbox, I switched another copy and still not working.

Disappointing 4k transfer. I wouldn't have purchased it if I had previewed the a few scenes first.

The case just fell apart once the plastic wrap was removed. I did not see any difference between blue ray and 4k version.

Don't know what's going with the Star Trek series but not as clean as it should be. Make me feel like I could have just gotten the blu ray.

Great movie, but the upscaling is noticeable. Unless you’re a huge fan of the series, just get it on blu-ray.

I bought this movie to play on my XBOX One S with my new Sony 4K HDR TV. The 4K copy in this package did not play at all. I had to contact Paramount to set up an exchange, granted it was free of charge, but it took about two-three weeks after buying the movie before I could watch it. The other two Star Trek 4K movies did not have this problem and worked flawlessly.

This was given to me as a gift, it's my first 4k movie, it has a decent 4k picture.

This was no TWOK/SFS TOSC movie. It wasn't bad but worth adding to my collection

To be honest this version with this khan wasn't as good as the original movie

I bought this 4K Blu-ray on January 11, 2018 for Store Pickup. I picked it up on my way home from work. It appeared to be fine, shrink wrap was in tact. However, when I got home and removed the wrap, the bottom of the case crumbled into pieces. It's as if the box was crushed. I opened the box to find only one disc and NO digital HD download code. The only disc in the box was the regular Blu-ray disc 2 which is only the special features. The actual movie wasn't even in the box. It is as if someone already opened it, removed the 4K UHD disc, download code sheet, and re-shrink wrapped it. Never happened to me before. Highly disappointed.

Pretty good movie, but the 4k version really didn't blow me away like the critics said it would, when viewed on my new LG OLED. Should have bought just the Blu-ray disc instead of the 4k and saved the money.

I shouldn't say terrible but truthfully after the first movie and how well made it was, to take your sequel and make it a remake of the classic star trek 2 in my opinion was a huge mistake

I thought this was true 4k but it wasn't and only played in HD...extra 10 bucks for nothing
