I always thought it was kind of funny to write a review of a movie since they are so subjective. I bought this for the 3d version and the price was excellent.

Still a good movie, but anyone familiar with the original series will recognize a couple of similarities with Wrath of Khan

Continued success after the first PRE-Star trek. Great action, Plot and twists and turns. Love the new cast - but Kirk had brown eyes and Bones had the blue! Excellent bonus features.

I have been looking everywhere for this movie could barley find it anywhere now I have at a great price!

Really enjoy the new cinematography technology that is available today that makes the sci-fi movies very realistic. Add that to the Blu-ray format and you have a winning combination.

A really good follow-on to the inital film in ths series -- well cast and good story plot makes it a joy to watch -- turn up the sound-bar - grab the popcorn bowl and enjoy the ride!

I really liked the original Star Trek shows and movies and the new ones, this and the one before this are just as good. They are filled with action, special effects and have a story line.

This film looks amazing on 4K! I really do like this film, though a lot of Star Trek fans don't. This was a day one purchase for me and I have not been disappointed!

Love the 4K quality of this movie. You don’t notice the difference until you watch a “regular” movie after watching the 4K quality.

This movie was great for your typical Trekkie but it's also entertaining for those who are not into Star Trek, like me. The story grabbed me from the beginning and took me on a rollicoaster ride through space. I loved every second of this movie. Keep them coming J.J. Abrhams!

I can't believe I waited so long to watch the new Star Trek movies. The Wrath of Kahn is my favorite original Star Trek movie, but this one ranks right up there with it.

This movie in my opinion was better than the first Star Trek remake. It changes and adds more action and gives more character background as well. You won't be disappointed, makes you want to go back and watch the original star trek from the beginning.

I saw this movie on blu-ray but I was amazed at the difference when I saw it in 4K Ultra HDR blu-ray on my Oppo 203. It was better than being in the movie theater.

I didn't think this would be as good as the first Star Trek, but when I saw it was very impressed. I thought it was better than the first and is well worth buying to watch over and over.

Being a casual fan of Star Trek that has seen most of the films, it didn't bother me too much that this was just a re-imagined remake of a previous film. Love it or hate it, and for the price I got this for, it's a welcomed edition to my collection.

The movie itself is decent, just following a separate value from the original. Chris Pine does a decent job of action and acting for the movie and Cumberbatch does a good job as a villain you love to hate but at the same time sympathise with.

The best of the summer movies to hit the box office. Star Trek into Darkness takes an old story and gives it a new and creative twist that provides for constant action and entertainment.

I'm a long time Star Trek fan and I enjoy the new cast playing familiar rolls. Khan was a great adversary in the original series and is great in this story as well.

Still not sure sure about the re-writing of the classic Trek ethos, but if anybody can do it, Abrahms can. If it gets the geeks all riled up, it must be good. Lots of action, lots of humor, great homage to the original series and Wrath of Khan. Two hours went by like a flash.

I enjoyed this film. It was visually stunning, with a fairly decent plot. It had a good mix of violence verses drama, with good sets and backgrounds. The animations were very well done, very realistic. I am attracted to the sci-fi genre, so this film fit well with my likes.
