Good movie, thought not quite as good as the first.

well acted; well paced; well received; I enjoyed it

Of the 3 Star Trek movies, it's not my favorite but I do like it. Star Trek Beyond, Star Trek, Star Trek Into the Darkness is how I put it. :)

This is not a movie for a hardcore Trekkie. Great camera work and action scenes but as far as a story goes you had better find another movie. I would give it a 3.2 out of 5

I'm not Trekkie, but I do like the Star Trek movies. I like the new look of the Star Trek characters. I like that they brought back Star Trek to the big screen.

The DVD is a little better then some of the others. Acting is Fair and a better Story.

Pretty good movie. Not as good as the first but better than the third in my opinion.

It's not a bad movie but for original series Star Trek fans there are a lot of continuity issues.

This movie is ok if you are a fan of Star Trek but the originals are much better

I loved the 1st one a good buy for the 2nd just haven't watched yet.

I am not a huge fan of Star Trek but JJ Abrams reboot is entertaining.

Good movie but it was very similar to Wrath of Khan

The quality of the DVD and everything like that was fine. But the movie itself is horrible. JJ Abrams really destroyed the Star Trek reboot. What a wasted opportunity.

I've had to order it twice starting in october and have not recieved it yet. now they tell me i will get it by december 20. the store is less than one mile from my house, but i am under quarantine. this has been the stupidest order i ever did. ONE MILE from my house and it is taking 3 months to get here. never again best buy, never again.

Though i would not be what one deems a 'trekkie' I have knowledge of the original series, plot, characters and backgrounds. This is another excellent continuation of the classic Star Trek series. The writers have done an excellent job following the original series story line, from Kirk's mentor to Khan. Thanks to todays technology, there are incredible special effects. The actors should be commended for their efforts in mimicking the original characters personality & manorisms. It is obvious they have studied their characters from the early days of Star Trek.

Star Trek: Into Darkness is clearly not going to hold up to repeat viewings as well as the first one did, but despite the increasingly obvious fact that I enjoyed the film more on my first viewing I still think it was a mostly positive move for the franchise. It stuck to some very classic Star Trek story themes, the characters are just plain fun and are all used well and of course Peter Weller. Yeah. Outside of the now infamous "flipped" scene towards the end of the film, Into Darkness is still a very solid Star Trek film.

The movie doesn’t live up to the promise of its predecessor, and there’s much less Leonard Nimoy in it. But it’s still a good movie and worth seeing. The studio is greedy, and won’t give you all the extras on this DVD. I recommend you not buy this at full price, and wait until this goes on sale.
