I really enjoy how they have back written the Star Trek history and how well the cast does with the accents of the characters and patterning the general characteristics of the original cast members. Anyone who was a Star Trek fan should be fascinated watching this movie. Fun.

I'm a purist with the Star Trek shows. Never been a fan of the offshoots. When I saw the 1st Star Trek, I was happily surprised with the acting, the humor, and the true to form plot line. In this sequel, the story twists a bit, but not enough to pull away from the original premise. Loved the cammios by the original cast Plus Kahn's character stole this entire performance

This is the second movie with the new actors. Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Kachary Quinto & Simon Pegg play their characters admirably and have some fun along the way. Very entertaining! The 4K Ultra makes everything stand out.

Star Trek was a good movie. However, when I opened the brand new movie case, I received 2 discs - a standard disc of Star Trek and a Blu-ray disc of "World War Z"! Must have been a packaging error. I'm not sure whether to be happy or sad about this.....I didn't get a Blu-ray copy of Star Trek, but I did get a copy of World War Z (two movies for the price of one?). Decided not to return it.

An Excellent movie by JJ Abrams. Has very good, non-distracting 3D which you forget it once you are in the movie. Video and Audio on the bluray disc are spectacular. Although Paramount should have included the Imax footage as 16:9 aspect ratio, just like Dark Knight movies.

I loved the first one, and this follow-up is great. Definitely a much different plot and focus than the first one, and Cumberbatch made an awesome Khan. The blu-ray looked and sounded great. The extra featurettes about the making of the movie were enjoyable to watch as well.

The rebooted Star Trek franchise second outing focus on coming together as a team and learning to rely on each other and themselves. But trying to use an iconic Star Trek enemy to blend into the narrative makes the movie a bit to complicated and muddles a lot of the narrative to a degree. Still a stronger than most movie in the overall franchise.

An unexpected twist on the original story of Khan. I really like JJ Abrams prospective on Star Trek. I know a lot of other fans were disappointed with where Abrams went with this film, but Kirk is supposed to be the Hero, and Spock was always the steady rock. This film gives you that combination of Friends on the edge and what you might be if pushed to the edge of friendship.

Great story, great action. The actors were all good especially the women. Zoe Saldana and Alice Eve played strong women. Then again Star Trek was always ahead of it's time when it came to race relations and the important roles that women played.

I personally love this movie. I know a lot of the purists are upset with the storyline, but I personally don't have a problem with it. If you liked the reboot from a couple of years ago then by all means pick this one up too. It's a great continuation of the new timeline.

As a casual fan of Star Trek, I love this movie! However, I can understand why hardcore fans might be upset. This version of the film also includes full-screen IMAX scenes, which were surprisingly cropped in the original blu-ray release!

Really enjoyed this movie. Good adventure story that is also kid-friendly. Enjoy the backstory connecting it to earlier Trek productions. Like that they can create an action movie without ruining it with profanity... it is great to be able to enjoy this as a family.

I recently bought the XBOX One S, with a built in 4k player, and wanted to check out the quality of 4k movies. This was a great movie to test it out on. It was vivid, and clear to see. Great movie with action, a smidge of romance, and Star Trek!

This is a great movie and a clever way of retelling the story while still leaving the original story lines intact. The 3D is OK. A few moments standout better than some others. In all fairness, I haven't bought a 3D bluray movie that has been as good as in the theater.

This is reference quality picture and audio. Id like to confirm that the 4k disc does use the same transfer as the compendium set where certain imax action scenes are blown up to fill your screen. Must have for any trekkie or even casual fans!

For the second adoration of Star Trek I have to say this one is just as good if not better than the first one I can’t wait to see what the third one is going to be late I recommend this to anyone who is a Star Trek fan

One more movie in the Star Trek saga. This one keeps the excitement coming. Blu-Ray technology makes the characters come alive on the screen. This one even included the opportunity for a free ticket to the BRAND NEW Star Trek in the theaters.

What can I say... Sherlock Holmes becomes Kahn becomes Dr. strange… This movie is great and I enjoyed the way it showed even some of the Darkside of Starfleet. As always with warp the surroundsound is amazing as are the phasers and photons.

I was never a fan of the older Star Trek movies or TV shows, but I really enjoy the new movies. The movie gets off to a fairly quick start picking up with Kirk, Spock, and the rest of the crew. Of course, problems start to arise when Kahn hits the scene. It's a fun ride with a couple of twists along the way. I thought Cumberbatch did a great job as Kahn as well!

The Star Trek series has really been revived with these films. 4K HDR looks amazing and definitely kicks 1080 blu rays in the balls. Be sure you have a 4K player and TV or else this is a waste! Highly recommend this film to any OLED owner.
