This is a great 4k movie to view if you liked this movie (i heard some did not). The movie comes even more to life in 4k...quite stunning. If you have not viewed 4k yet, I urge you to check it out if you are a movie fan!!!

I was hoping for a really good follow-up to the previous outing... It was on the nose! Better than I thought it would be!. I'm a big fan of home theater so, it made me appreciate the feel of being at the movies with my home theater. The plot was about as much as can be expected. But, then again, I've always been a Star Trek fan... I can't wait for the "next installment."

Abrams does another great job with the Star Trek Franchise. Just as good as his first "Star Trek" film, "Into Darkness" has a great mix of action, comedy, special effects, and a nice little "twist" to one of the original Star Trek films (won't mention here to avoid any spoilers). If you're a fan of Abrams, good Sci-Fi and Star Trek in general, you will not be disappointed.

After watching Star Trek Into Darkness (Blu-ray 3D) (Ultraviolet Digital Copy), I was quite surprised and pleased that the film makers kept this movie to Mr. Roddenberry's standards. Excellent special effects and a great story line...Keep it up guy's!

I personally liked this movie a lot, i liked the first one but this one was more intense and kept you interested more so I felt. Quinto is a great Spock, Pine is a good Kirk. I'm not an expert on Star Trek by any means but just as a movie, I really enjoyed it.

I don't know what it is but I love this movie. I can watch it at any time. I want to get it in 4k. I was not a major star trek fan, I've watched the series growing up but never continued as I got older. These movies made me fan again.

I laughed out loud at some of the lines used by the cast members. (Good script). Cameo shots of original cast added depth to the movie. I appreciated the attention given to detail . I found this movie very entertaining. You don't have to be a "Trek-e" to enjoy.

I loved the first relaunch movie "Star Trek"! And to take a notable character of Khan and do a rehash of his story was bold and exciting! JJ Abrams is outdoing himself with this new series! Great for the old Trekkie and great for the new generation of Trekkies!

This second edition of the series reboot further defines the new environment that makes up this Star Trek universe. The actors have made the roles their own. Good story, excellent action.

I really enjoyed this movie. The customer service was excellent as they went searching all over the store to find this movie. It showed as available but wasn't on the shelf. A regular scavenger hunt ensued to find it! Great employees at my local Best Buy!

Movies just dont look as good anymore without having them shown on Ultra 4k. This movies delivers on the picture quality of ultra 4k while offering the beautiful colors that HDR offer. 10/10 picture quality. 8/10 movie.

Great follow up to first movie. Nice spin from the original Khan and very good acting. Characters are well played by all cast. 4k does have the edge over Blu Ray as well. Cool!

I already own this Blu-Ray - 1st release with the special packaging & was able to recently acquire a Steel Book version. I have been watching Star Trek since the original series in the mid 60's. Will never become tired of the films.

Benedict Cumberbach was a great Khan. Star Trek is always great to watch and the actors do a wonderful job emulating the original actors without a comical rendition of them.

I love the Star Trek series the oldest to the newest. I like how they have put a new spin on it. This is still a family movie. There is one scene that would be questionable to some with the Captain and two ladies, but that is very , very brief. Good movie.

I bought this movie based on many reviews stating that it had reference quality sound and video. It absolutely does. Colors pop and every detail is sharp. Sound is even more impressive. There are some awesome set pieces in this film and the sound makes them come to life. I didn't like the movie itself as much as the first, but it's not bad by any means.

I don't really have much to say except that even if you don't love Star Trek (I never watched the newer series) you should give this one a viewing. It constantly keeps you enthralled and there are enough twists to make you pay attention to what is going on.

As far as the movie goes, you can't go wrong. It's fun, it's got great special effects and best of all it's in the highest quality 4k. The scenes shot in IMAX look incredible. If you are a Star Trek fan, this movie is a must buy. For those of you looking to showcase your new 4k home theatre, you will not be disappointed.

I purchased the Blu-ray because I am a completest, but it certainly wasn't for the plot. Visually, the film is amazing with incredible sights, often obscured by JJ Abram's ubiquitous lens flares. Plot wise, the movie makes little sense. From the opening gambit where the starship is used in a completely pointless manner, solely for the FX shock value, to the anticlimactic guess cameo by a former actor that hurts the plot and makes the characters seem like paper tigers, there is little point other than eye-popping vistas intended to keep your attention away from the writing faults. Never mind that the whole new continuity and character profiles fly in the face of the last 40-something years of character development. The new writers will tell you what you want to see because they know best.This new series of trek movies is Star trek for the ADHD Star Wars generation. All glamor, no substance. Watch this film for the FX, but don't expect a great plot or a satisfying conclusion. This is not your father's Star Trek.

I like this movie and the previous one as they both show the development of Kirk & Spock's strained relationship beginnings towards brotherhood. It is also the prequel of the story of Khan from the Original TV series. It's action packed through the movie.
